Question on eBay sales.

Sold item is showing delivered. Buyer requested refund.

What steps do I need to take or is eBay just going to refund the buyer?

 

Why are they requesting a refund? Claiming item never showed, or not as described?

I'm pretty sure you're fine. Tell the buyer to contact eBay. You can't be on the hook for that.

Unless they can prove that the item was wrongfully delivered to another home they don't really have any case. Sucks, but sometimes stuff is misdelivered. I know my neighbors have received a few of my cards.

If it is a "ebay standard envelope" item, I've noticed that sometimes they show as delivered but don't really get delivered until the following day. Tell them to just give a few days and if they still don't have it, contact ebay. You've done your part so you shouldn't be on the hook if tracking says delivered.

pro debut and minor league heritage are some of my favorites. pulled a base image variation auto of torkelson out of 2021 heritage ML that is pretty damn nice.

 

and i just checked and former wright state raider tyler black has autos in pro debut so bring it on.

ugh, someone left me ebay feedback. "fast shipping. every card in the box had bent corners". i package shit really well, too. fucking Panini.

 

Think Crowe Armstrong is in year I bought a ton of bowman. Now I have others too but unsure if anything more than commons. Unfortunately my job and kid been keeping me busy lately and I'm not super organized but I'll try and take a look for those this week.

You can reach out to the buyer and offer a partial refund if they rescind their negative feedback. People are unreasonable and I've had to pay people off a couple of times to keep that 100% feedback.

Once got a negative feedback because I sold them a "heavily scratched" Donovan Mitchell Rookie. Accepted the return, sent it to grading, got a PSA 9.

Picked up a Neutral feedback a couple months ago because they didn't like how ebay authentication shipped the item to them . As if somehow I'm responsible for that.

Latest PSA submission popped last night. Biggest wins were two Pujols UD RCs both got a 10, and a Josh Giddey Donruss RC 75th Silver Foil /75 got a 10.

ETA: Tagging Andy Reocho because he loves grading cards and doesn't think it's a scam.

started selling in earnest this month on ebay

out of 20 sales - one non-payment, one bid I had to cancel, and multiple payments that took a week from the time the auction ended

eBay needs to do something, I couldn't even leave negative feedback for the non-payer. That particular user actually benefits because you can only leave positive feedback as a seller so this guy has like 30 "positive" reviews that say things like NON-PAYER DO NOT DEAL WITH. If eBay is going to take that 13% cut, they need to really start addressing this.

 

i only sell with buy it now. can't deal with auction bullshit.

 

Maybe I'm an ass hole but someone needs to have a sit down chat with all of sports card Twitter and let everyone know what a hit is.
