Man the Eastern is one of the best music venues j e ever been to. It's nice to have something like this that's designed specifically for music - amazing sound and not a bad spot in whole place. If you get an opportunity to see night 2 of Ween tonight don't pass it up - they're tight right now and Gener looks and sounds great.
I've got an extra Goose ticket for Sunday. It's free and I can transfer to you if I can figure that out or you can hang with me. Never miss a Sunday show or something.
Had a delicious Mexican Restaurant in Flowery Branch the other day on my drive back from the Lake Burton area, and it was called Taqueria El Antojito. Would recommend 10/10. Better than most of the places I've had on Buford. If you happen to go, get the Chorizo, so good. Chorizo tacos
I'm going to take my kid to six flags tomorrow. Haven't been in like 18 years but I hear good things.
Speaking of buckhead, I havent been there in over a decade. How much has it changed? Got a concert there next weekend, and was looking for the best spot to watch the UGA game beforehand. Guess the saloon is out?
Ninja has been rebranded to something else but it's basically the same ride with some improvements (minimal whiplash). I loved that ride so much when I was a kid but could only ride it once last time I went. Wish they would've kept the Looping Starship but they tore it down to build Goliath - which is the best coaster I've ever ridden.
https://atlanta.eater.com/2022/10/3...ening-highland-avenue-old-fourth-ward-atlanta This sounds awesome
4 of us managed to order half the menu. Pow Pow Shrimp x 2, Shaking Beef, Pork Belly, General Tso Chicken, wontons, spicy pork noodles, Roti Canai and Brussel sprouts
yea its really good think last time the ravioli and duck lasagna were the best dishes. Also really good drinks.
Dear god it was good. Got tuna tartare, app portions of the wagyu beef agnolotti & duck lasagna, and then shared the Red snapper as a main. Cocktails and wine on point. Will return
Went to Marcell with some friends Friday night and was disappointed there for the 1st time. Other trips have been great but this round service was really mediocre and steaks/sides came out a full hour after apps/salads were cleared. The food was solid but definitely not worth $90 for a steak
Trying to book a reservation a month in advance and the only times available are on the patio, click reserve patio, “We end patio service at the end of October”. Why is it even an option then?!?
Weird. I would keep the Resy alert on, that’s how we got our table. Getting their early and sitting at bar is also a move I would consider.
If there's a show at the Fox, get there 10-15 minutes before the show starts and a lot of the bar will clear out too.
I stupidly bought tickets to two different shows for next Wednesday: Gorillaz and Alex Cameron. I'd personally rather see Cameron but have a buddy travelling from out of town for Gorillaz so I'll be going to that. If anyone wants the Cameron tickets at the Masquerade let me know. I'll likely just give them away day of (gonna wait to see if my guy bails first).
Nice try, pal. The Masquerade shut down years ago. I’m not trying to wind up in chained to a boiler in some basement in Canton.
Has anyone been to C. Ellett's or Eataliano at the Battery? I was looking at all the restaurants there, and I think those are the only 2 I've never been to.
Went last night before a concert and can confirm that it was very good. I’d still prefer Marcel, but it’s in the same stratosphere. Found it a little bizarre that it came with their steak sauce (I did not ask for or use it).
