Bobby deserved to be fired though, dude squandered having a core of 5 HOFers in their prime (with a shit load of help) for most of a decade.
While people like Where Eagles Dare claim they would never step foot in Buckhead, Elton John and his neighbor Clown Baby have called it home for many, many years.
Like that postgame interview by Nimmo where he doesn’t think the Braves can do enough with 7 games remaining H2H to make up the 6.5 game lead at that time. We won 6 out of those final 7 games, ya fuck.
actually was “shake your head on that one kid! the condensed game on the mlb app has that strikeout and call if anyone wants to watch it
The Sunday Night Baseball crew annoys me but they were absolutely right about our big game experience becoming a decided advantage. The moment is never too big for this club.
He’s had a home in Atlanta for close to 30 years and somewhere along the way picked up baseball and became a big fan.
Have to. If not him, then Trea Turner. But we have to go big on one of the two and it might as well be the dude we’ve won with.
I have kind of written Ian off for the year and cant really say Id want him throwing even if he was healthy or available . My main question at this point is would Strider be available for a division series appearance. He still hasnt been cleared to throw apparently
I have no idea anymore where these players are or what’s going on with them: Ian Anderson Vaughn Grissom Ozzie Albies - is he officially done for the year? Kirby Yates
Thanks. I know Arcia has been great and his defense is much better than Vaughn. But it seems like we gave up on the kid pretty quickly to not even be playing him at DH or pinch hitting him.
Perfect example of where the stat nerds are right and the old school folks whining on batting average and Ks just don't get it. Sure, it can be ugly to watch, but that style of baseball is more effective if you've got the right talent.
I completely forgot about Kirby Yates. I have no idea what happened to him other than he wasn't very good.
