He just scored 41 goals and 79 points in 74 games. If he never improves at all from here on out he's worth 9. Look at all the guys that just got 8+.
AND he's is solid defensively. He's not a 1 way player. 41 goals and 79 points for an entire prime is worth 10+ easy.
Yeah, but can't stream it on ESPN+ and I feel like a lot of places don't carry nhl network. Just seems strange not to make it easier to watch, but I guess the game is more for Europe than here
with guys like Couturier, Hart and Farabee starting the season already banged up, if things break bad on the injury front as the season goes, even Torts won't be able to salvage loser points with this group. my new favorite (I hate it so much) rumor is that Fletcher is shopping Sanheim.
I think the Predators aren't that much better than the Jets for that last spot. I also like the Senators, but other than that all reasonable
That's a body with a LOT of miles on it where he already isn't the best skater, but I love that AAV for the first 4-5 years. Even when it gets ugly at the end, It's not going to be a big deal. Great deal for CGY.
It's weird seeing guys like Johnsson and Milano get dropped (.5 ppg players) but I kind of understand from a GM's perspective. Not quite offensively talented enough to be a top 6 player on a good team; out of place in a bottom 6 checking-line role and playing with less talented linemates. You're allowed to have talented players in your bottom 6 obviously, but the bottom 6 seems like the place most GM's are trying to save cap space.
#Dallas Stars #Los Angeles Kings fans I'm traveling to your citays over the next month, planning to see a game while I'm in each place. Any suggestions on places to eat/drink around the arenas or inside? Also for Kings fans what's the premier level zone seats at crypto arena, are those just regular club level seats?
The fact that tweet has been out for a day and has seemingly received zero media attention is the problem.
This tweet got a chuckle. Minnesota deserves a lot of credit for not overthinking themselves during the draft the last few years, but damn have they benefitted from a lot of teams in front of them trying to go galaxy brain on it.
Lets wait to see if more than 1/4 pan out as expected. 6 points in 57 games for a forward in the KHL ain't exactly setting the world on fire.
Oh, for sure. I'm just saying that's a pretty ridiculous prospect pool (Including guys like Addison) for a team that never picked in the top 5 in that span.
I agree that it is way too early to call Yurov a success. But to add some context to those KHL stats - he averaged less than 3 minutes a game and plenty of games he only got a shift or two last season on a top 2 team in the KHL. They were heavily relying on the older established players in an effort to win a title and Yurov's development was not their priority. It's hard to rack up points given that situation. His MHL stats, where he averaged a PPG two seasons ago and 1.5 PPG last season before being promoted to his KHL team, match up favorably with many of the top Russian prospects in their draft year. His scoring rate was comparable to what Kucherov was producing in the MHL - Kucherov just was allowed to stay down at that level later into his draft year season before he was promoted to the KHL. That is no guarantee that he pans out (and in no way do I expect him to be Kucherov, let me be clear on that), but given that is the level he was getting full ice time, that is the better level to evaluate him at and the reason that, from a pure talent perspective, he was being touted as a top 10 prospect in the draft. Given all the uncertainty around Russian players around the draft this year, I get why Yurov fell to the Wild. Wallstedt is the one I am still confused on how so many teams passed on him to allow the Wild to pick him. Obviously he still needs to prove it at the NHL level (or even the AHL), but he's checked every box you could ask for from a goaltender at this stage of his development.
Completely forgot he was the same guy having an affair with the Canes beat writer while his wife was home pregnant
I mean I'm sure they're tagged a million times a day for everything you can imagine. It's always good outing the scumbags who do scumbag shit.
The right route to take at this point until they find out more. If allegations are credible then there’s some legal action coming as well.
they won’t be, and i am sure he did everything she said. This is typical hockey/sports star deranged behavior
