Med won the first, lost the 2nd set in a tight 8-6 breaker and then just randomly retired. WTF. Novak looks so confused still post-match.
JJ Felix for the title tomorrow. Also, watching Alycia Parks. If she can some consistency, she is a force. One of the best serves ive seen on the WTA
2 titles on the year for Felix. Very good chance to make the ATP finals now. Watching him yesterday against Musetti and today, he looked very very good
Yeah, that's pretty poor. I can't imagine any of the other major tennis nations not giving one of their long term players a decent farewell.
This is one of my favorite clips ever. Umpire made an awful mistake on Sloane-Bencic. The next day: The laughing by Keys kills me
Posted this in the gambling thread but its good here too Tennis is by far the most corrupt sport Laaksonen in a challenger tournament today, in the FINALS, retired when the other guy had match point. Most books, for tennis action to be graded a win/loss, have to go the distance. So if someone retires before the match is complete, there its a canceled bet
Would love to know what he did to stand out so much next to such a collection of derelicts. Also he’s playing well, huge win yesterday.
Yeah saw that, not much in that IMO. I’m sure it’s a culmination of shit of course, but they have dudes who just don’t even show up lol.
Wow Felix serving down 1-4 and 30-40 in the game to make it 5-1 Ymer, Felix comes back and wins 5 straight games and takes the 2nd set
Gilles Simon, in his final career tournament, goes 3 hours and 6 minutes to beat Taylor Fritz in front of his home crowd in Paris.
