An extremely smart and handsome poster brought up Iran missile capabilities being in there about 20 pages back.
Crazy the country who prob got that info handed to them is fucking with oil prices and gave very smart Jared 2bn.
Honestly was wondering where this thread had gone. Keep seeing talking heads mentioning big news and then nothing happens. It’s been disappointing and yet somehow unsurprising
It’s a criminal investigation being impeded by a district court judge, it’s not going to move overnight
The DOJ is also not going to bring an indictment before the midterms (if one does come at all). I’m not sure what people expect here.
well, I'm pretty sure the DOJ presser today is (was?) about this story, which I'm presuming has nothing to do with the former president Also, the "nothing will come of it" part is probably also true though, because I'm guessing the 2 spies are in China. Edit: I was wrong. Arrests were made. The lengths the Chinese government is making to protect Huawei is telling -- it's quite malicious.
It's as if they had bad intentions with their 5g antennas that both parties in Congress somehow were strongly against when trump was president. Weird.
There was bipartisan support for legislation https://www.reuters.com/article/us-...s-huawei-introduced-in-congress-idUSKCN1UB1X3
https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2022/10/28/raskin-mar-a-lago-trump-documents/ Spoiler National security law experts interviewed by The Washington Post say prosecutors appear to have amassed evidence in the case that would meet some of the criteria for bringing charges against the former president — an unprecedented action that they said likely would only happen if the Justice Department believes it has an extremely strong case. David Raskin, who served for many years as a senior federal prosecutor in New York City, and more recently has worked as a prosecutor in Kansas City, Mo., has been quietly assisting in the investigation into Trump and his aides, according to the people familiar with the matter, who like others interviewed for this article spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe an ongoing investigation.
It seems that out of respect for our very fair and virtuous country they wouldn’t do anything before the election. But it certainly sounds like some charges should be forthcoming. Won’t hold my breath.
As it’s increasingly relevant, these are three future-GOP SCOTUS nominee caliber judges (maybe not Pryor anymore due to age)
no, she has to throw the whole case out Not the criminal investigation before the magistrate judge though, which the appeals court quite clearly said she should have never touched in the first place
He'll slide her in on the downlow by Executive Order or some other dumbass shenanigans. And it'll take a year for the courts to say, "No, you can't do that."
