If the Michigan player followed the MSU players down the tunnel and was talking shit, sounds like a case of fucking around and finding out.
I’ve seen more intense pushing and shoving in the pit at a high school battle of the bands during a particularly rousing rendition of Blind by Korn
Penn State this year The opposing locker rooms are right across from the home locker rooms, it doesn't really make any sense.
It’s a lot different when it’s 1 player fighting another when half your team jumps a single player it’s fucking pathetic
There was some yelling/pushing/shoving at halftime last year v. OSU and halftime this year v. PSU. I can't recall anything post game ever, but maybe I'm wrong on that. I don't really remember it ever being an issue before last year OSU.
The first 40 seconds is basically what I imagine happens in every big game. Just terrible design by subpar Michigan architects.
Michigan state should be so lucky that they can fire Tucker shoot cause after this. But that won’t happen
Most michigan team was on field celebrating. MSU whole team was heading to lockers, only handful of michigan players were, whose lockers are in same tunnel
It’s completely unacceptable and I expect(hope?) Tank Brown is gone, probably a couple others suspended. I do question why that lone UM player was even there while his entire team was celebrating on the field. Don’t know what the deal is with the second one Harbaugh is talking about, haven’t seen any video/pics of it or heard about it from anyone else. If the cops bring charges for that, I’ll assume there’s also about 10k other sets of charges pending from around that stadium tonight, I was safer in Iraq and Afghanistan than I have been leaving MSU/UM games over the years.
#18 as well, definitely swings at him and it sure seems like he attempted to kick him as well at the very end once the UM player was on the ground. rest of them idk, 1-2 games. big fine for MSU and honestly fine UM as well for having the dumbest stadium design possible.
Not excusing this, but having the opposing team’s locker room directly across from Michigan’s, is true idiocy.
that doesn't matter now. it needs to be changed in the future and for now UM needs to provide heightened security and teams should be escorted in and out as a group with any stragglers receiving police protection. it's not a terribly difficult fix, quite frankly. this is something UM can implement immediately with no trouble.
Or you know, losing players can just not start fights after getting embarrassed on the field. That works too.
#19 is throwing some when the UM kid is on the right side of the door and #18 throws some after the kid has been thrown out the other side of the door. you won't see fists from this video but you can look at the arms and see the motion.
this seems practical, totally. but there's clearly a problem in the here and now and one of your own players suffered for it so why not fix the obvious problem? worst case you have extra security doing nothing, what's that harming? best case is no UM player gets attacked by a mob next time. I mean christ, look at the YT video above. OSU is walking out and UM players bust out of the lockers en masse to go talk shit. why is that even allowed? Harbaugh can't keep them in the lockers thirty more seconds?
