Don't worry my dear first-page Libertarian Thread poster, I'm not asking the government to intervene. I'm just saying that you can't pretend to be the person of the people (or punk rock fuck the man like Blink 182) and then happily use dynamic pricing to price out a huge segment of your fans right before the holidays. Rage Against the Machine got hell for their pricing and theirs were less than half of what TSwift is charging
I don't think dynamic pricing is on. I think its just "VIP" sections. The other ticket prices seemed reasonable for one of the most popular acts on the planet.
Prices are high but I haven’t seen anything indicating prices are changing so it doesn’t seem like dynamic pricing is on
dynamic pricing isn't on. VIP and some floor tickets are insane but I don't think any of the others are totally unreasonable.
No I get it. Some people don't have the stomach for capitalism that others do. Not a problem. I understand you feel you are right. Not getting into it further itt.
Queue just switched on for Denver and it put me in it immediately but it says "The queue has been temporarily paused".
Man, some of you still believe that Taylor Alison Swift is a real person with feelings, and not an ice cold cyborg?
Reddit and twitter seem to think prices are changing as in some seats become "platinum" but I wasn't chosen so I can go only off word of mouth
I can confirm from my first journey into the inky abyss that seats were blue dots and turned to star dots
if there are 18,519 people ahead of me then I think they gave out way too many codes if you can buy 6 tickets
I’ve got tickets for Black Panther at 2:15 and I’m not sure I’m going to get to the front of queue by then, let alone when I’d need to leave
Everybody doing it from a laptop or PC? Did anybody attempt to do it from your phone? Or on the Ticketmaster app?
Tickets secured. Friday 6/30 in Cincinnati 100 level to the side of the stage, row 7 and on the aisle
Attempting to flip my floor seats and get some sides paid for. Mine are very reasonable relative to other StubHub listings in the section.
got 4, first row second level 205 each before fees. very easy once your in. there were a lot of tix left for the show i was looking at.
Mrs. Scorpio got tickets! 3 pairs of aisle seats all in front of each other in the lower bowl. $219 per ticket
I got the front of the line, it tried to load, and I was booted. I tried getting back in and it now says there are 2000+ ahead of me again. I’m out.
I'm no IT guy, but I would think they would/should know the level of traffic their servers can handle and plan for that?
Especially since they're the ones that handle and send out the pre-sale codes. Like how could you possibly be surprised by how many show up when you're the one who sends out the invites
Ticketmaster 100% knew this would happen but also they have no reason to give a fuck and pay for extra servers
I wonder if Amazon, Google, or Microsoft will ever think about dethroning Ticketmaster? They all have the size, power, and capability to influence and win ticketing supplier contracts. Plus the most important part...they all own more than enough server farms to allocate whatever resources would be necessary.
