Yeah this happens once every few years. TM isn’t investing extra money in infrastructure that will be useless 97% of days. They knew exactly how many people would line up because they knew how many codes they sent out.
They moved the Capital One Presale to tomorrow at 2. Instructions are posted a couple pages back. I’ll try and find them later…walking into a clients now
ive been sitting in this damn queue for 3 and a half hours and its only moved about 1/4th up the bar.
we got a set for a friday show and a set for a saturday show (two people in our group had codes). gonna sell off one or the other.
Gonna try and buy again on Friday for the recently added Tampa show that wasn't an option for the presale. Will give it an hour before I throw in the towel.
I went to rep tour at Soldier field and it poured rain. That was not a great time, especially the walk to the train.
That was some stressful shit. As soon as they let me in it felt like they let everyone in because it went from tons of lower bowl seats avail to nothing but top row nosebleed left in 2 mins. Everything I tried to get was taken. Ended up here for Philly on Sunday. Sec 210, Row 21, Seats 17 - 18 Sec 210, Row 21, Seats 19 - 22
I’m actually not going. Wife thinks it’s a good idea to spend $250 on a ticket for our six-year-old to go instead (with her friend and her friend’s mom).
my sister in law finally got our's after waiting all day. section 238 club level Saturday night in Atlanta. $439/ticket with the fees.
Man I just wanted to do something nice for my kid who is having a rough time - no way I get anything reasonable once they go on sale to the rest of us dickheads
I got in, clicked on about 100 diff pairs of tickets and each time I was given the sorry message. I can't win today.
Mine sold on StubHub within 5 hours 2100/each netting me about 1890/each And a net profit of about 2150. Yeesh. Probably could have waited it out for more, but this works. Now to buy our real seats.
Mine were $1700 for 5 but just checked Stubhub and there’s seats 2 rows behind mine listed at $3.344 each before fees so feels much better when you consider that
People have the means to pay nearly 3x face for what they want then ok. I list nearly all my concert tickets to high-demand shows on StubHub at absurd prices. Sometimes they sell, and I buy reasonable seats. Sometimes I just end up using them. FWIW they sold because they were about the only seats under about 3500/per in the area.
Update - I kind of dumb-dumbed my listing. I accidentally set to allow any quantity. So someone bought 1, but the email has my whole listing detail, making it look like both sold. Checked the app and I have one left for sale. So on that note, I’m only up $160 with 1 ticket left to unload as a single.
Did you get the actual tickets in your Ticketmaster account or did you sell with the transfer later feature? Still waiting on my tickets to show up in my account.
Agreed, I have no interest in going to her concert but buying tickets just to turn around and sell them for a massive profit is gross as fuck.
