Italy has to be considered the favorite this World Cup unless Freddy Adu really steps it up for the US
Which country will be 1st to have a player arrested by the Qatar morality police and why will it be France?
I'd like to see Portugal win. Would be cool to see Cristiana Ronaldo finally get one for being a good teammate all these years.
Pretty accurate. Just know that while we try and do what he said, the whole part about us passing around to draw teams up the field is more idea than practice in most games against good competition. To date. We can be good but have not been good in the lead up to the World Cup. Some other notes for friends of the program. - Zimmerman is a normal starter at CB, but Long and Ream are probably 4th choice if all our guys are healthy. Most USMNT fans want Ream to play because he’s a better passer. He’s had a good season but he’s 35, and historically a second tier player for us. - On the other end, we have a bunch of young (but experienced) guys in wide attack. Reyna and Pulisic are top tier players. Aaronson and Weah are great at certain things and good players. They all play in the most competitive leagues in the world. We will likely only have three on the field for most games. Pulisic is the only locked in starter. As mentioned in the video, we lack a proven goal scorer as our center forward. None of the three options (Ferreira, Wright, Sargent) have stepped up in their US careers. - Our starting midfield is talented. Musah, McKennie, Adams. All play in the top leagues. Kellyn Acosta is a solid program player who will come on if we need more defense. McKennie is very dangerous on corners and free kicks with headers on goal. In my way too invested opinion Musah being great is the key to our chances of relative success. - In our worst games under this manager it can appear that our midfield is non existent. Not deep enough to play defense, not advanced enough to help on offense. Totally disconnected from both the back and forward line. When we are connected we can beat teams like Wales and Iran. We should have a reasonable chance to perform against Wales and Iran. Most likely against England we will play much more conservatively and look to counter attack. Expectations are to make it out of the group and if things fall our way give ourselves a chance to win in the round of 16. After that, we are likely playing teams that are made up of the best players in the world. Lastly, this is likely the last major tournament for arguably the two best players in soccer history - Messi and Ronaldo. Both are past their prime but still game winners and on teams that are among the favorites. This is the equivalent of watching Jordan and Lebron play in their last playoffs at the same time and both their teams have a chance to win it all.
Yeah saw that update. Sucks that we won’t be able to watch France with Benzema and Nkunku in the WC. But if it means Mbappé won’t win then I’m cool with it.
It’s a bummer that the soccer board bullied enjj so bad, would like to hear a real first hand experience of the event instead of him pretending everything is ok
