I started Dark last night. Show is ...um....dark. Not the best "wind down at the end of the day before bed" show
I've thought about eliminating mini series. Or maybe they need their own rankings. I don't understand your recency bias argument. I have multiple shows in the top 5 that are pretty old.
There is not a single show on this list that premiered before 1999. The vast majority are from the last decade.
Not sure if you didn't watch Leftovers or Watchmen but those are some of the better TV shows I've ever seen
off the top of my head, and really just scratching the surface with the 90s: ER The West Wing X-Files NYPD Blue Hill Street Blues Star Trek: The Next Generation Star Trek: Deep Space 9 Probably Law and Order and the Practice if you’re considering cultural impact 24, Battlestar Galactica, Friday Night Lights seem like glaring omissions from the 2000s in favor of stuff like Winning Time or the ok Star Wars series trailing the list
I went back to try to rewatch West Wing recently...I couldn't make it through that many episodes. Maybe I need to try again. X files was good back in the day. Might should be on the list. Never watched HIll Street Blues Haven't watched much Star Trek Law and Order is definitely good-maybe it needs to be on the list Have never seen The Practice. Friday night lights got weak towards the end, I'll add it to the list somewhere. That's a good call. Battlestar Galatica-I know it's a big deal with some people but it never hooked me. There has only been one season of Winning Time but I thought it was very very good.
Op needs to watch Andor it’s the best Star Wars content Disney has put out and goes top 10 on the list imo.
I've watched it. I have the final episode to watch. Once done I'll add it to the list accordingly. It has been good but doesn't belong ahead of anything in my top 10.
