I just don’t get why the kid is waiting, he’s taken 9 visits to OU, his girlfriend is going there, it’s 2 hrs from home, I’m sure there is an NIL bag, everything says yup OU but yet here we are, super odd
He's actually good. I think the writing was on the wall that some younger guys were at minimum going to cut into his rotation snaps, but he's a good disruptive interior lineman. Great kid with a good motor. I honestly hope he does well and I suspect he will.
Picturing the fawcett family thanksgiving dinner with grandma asking where Hayes is and his dad having to explain what he does for work.
I also do not think that recruitment will be over and if OSU wants him, he’ll flip with the quickness
any NIL-oriented recruitment you generally dont want to be the 1st school the recruit commits to Spoiler I know Ohio State definitely does not do NIL
Unfortunately it seems like all the good players in Indiana for 2024 are uhh struggling with the grades I blame Mike Pence
Still interested to see how the Downs/Haynes recruitments play out. Ohio St mods are the only ones with the info these days…
Sounds like um is on the verge of losing its two top de commits(arguably two best players in the class). Not sure i can ever remember a program that recruits at a top 10 level historically coming off two great years having a worse recruiting year.
Who would have guessed that the HC very publicly trying everything he can to leave would fuck up crootin'?
At this point UM is 11-0, they’ve had plenty of time to fix this issue with cruiting. Something different is the problem
Michigan is doing nothing with NIL for recruiting. Harbaugh killed the momentum from last year, but that's not what this is about any more. This is about UM choosing to play by an arbitrary set of rules that don't exist, and that's on top of the rules that are already harder for them than most in this era that basically cuts them off from ever getting to play in the transfer portal unless it's a grad senior. As much as Harbaugh's NFL dance last year hurt them, if UM was coached by pretty much anyone else in major CFB right now there would be rumors flying about that coach wanting to get out for a different program.
these are some complaints that nd fans have also, but i think nd is a little looser on the nil stuff The transfer portal is still an issue, this will be a tough one.
Is any team not trying to say they do NIL “right” besides ATM and Miami? Whole thing is hilarious, Miami will be just as awful next year and who tf knows with A&M
True for Miami, but it’s not going to be a bunch of freshmen coming off NIL money. More so older dudes that have never sniffed the field or lost their spots due to clashing with a stubborn coaching staff Freshmen/Sophomores ditching a disaster is next year for us
