PSVR2 launching February 22nd, $550 for the set, $599 bundled with Horizon Call of the Mountain https://www.pushsquare.com/news/2022/11/psvr2-launches-22nd-february-2023-costs-usd550
I've watched about 2/3 of the 45 minute video, it looks so incredible. The character creator is impressive and it is absolutely the least impressive thing they showed, the castle is just immaculate.
Have any of yall expanded the storage on your ps5? If so, any issues since then? How hard was it to do?
The system was built for easy expansion. Takes a just a few minutes and no issues at all. Just don’t force the cover and crack anything like MORBO!
Seagate FireCuda 530 1TB Internal Solid State Drive - M.2 PCIe Gen4 ×4 NVMe 1.4, PS5 Internal SSD, speeds up to 7300MB/s, 3D TLC NAND, 1275 TBW, 1.8M MTBF, Heatsink, Rescue Services (ZP1000GM3A023) https://a.co/d/iAngItj
I don’t consider myself to have a really extensive library but having digital games filled up the stock ssd quickly unless I wanted to delete stuff which I thought was annoying. when you have ps+ extra and just want to dabble in games the extra space is really needed
I had almost forgotten that pain. That being said, it's fine. Hasn't affected anything since it was just one stupid plastic clip. Putting in the new HD was simple as shit though.
I would normally do that, but when you have a young kid that likes to play too, they have like seven different they'll want to play at any given time and at a moment's notice. Waiting for a download is hell for them.
The WD ones recommended from the sony store have such long delivery times right now. May check out the Seagate one.
The 850X has the same speed I think but it's put of stock most places and more expensive. At least the one with the heatsink is out of stock. Wish I could bet the Seagate delivered faster than Dec 3-5 estimated but it looks like that's gonna be a problem for any of them except some off-hand ones that I'm not gonna put in my system.
Callisto protocol supposed to be any good? commercial made it seem legit and made by the co creator of dead space
Anyone playing COD? I haven't played a shooter since Resistance and it's pretty fun. There's called DMZ 2.0 Beta or something where it's teams of 3 people and you go into the map and try and complete missions and get out before the gas comes in and kills you. It's a ton of fun. I'm not that big of a fan of just running around killing/being killed every 5 seconds so this is a lot more tactical and fun.
Went ahead and did the preorder. If it sucks, which sounds unlikely, I’ll get the OG Dead Space coming out next year
You gotta open it to update the software and such so it's ready to go Christmas morning. Might as well okay a game after and make sure it works correctly
Thank you sir. I’ll make sure to have my kids send you a thank you note that their brand new PS5 is up to date and ready to go
I’m good how it’s them assisting on a UC remaster. It’s the only game they’ve done that needs a retouch
This is absolutely true. I’m discovering I need to open a lot of gifts for my kids given how long it takes to set up.
doing this was so insanely easy I couldn’t believe it. Rarely do I do something with electronics and it goes off without a hitch but start to finish this took like 8 minutes and 5 of those minutes was me trying to find a tiny screw driver for the interior screw. Recommend everyone upgrade your memory.
