Sami has been so good I don't think I want this... I don't think I want the Rock or Cody. I think Sami has been so good I think I rather see it be Sami. This is all a credit to who he is as an entertainer. I think what you laid out is probably accurate. But kudos to Sami and the entire bloodline for making this story amazing.
Siap if this article has been discussed already. This guy is really just a billionaire living out his e-fed in real life Spoiler: Some incredible TK quotes “In 1995, I started doing an e-wrestling show called Saturday Night Dynamite, and then it moved around over the next many years. At one point in time it was on Monday night, but at one point it was also Wednesday Night Dynamite,” Khan said. “Then I used that name Dynamite for many years, and it had always been a steady thing. I relaunched the promotion with a new territory, new wrestlers, and new stories every several years. I wanted to try something different. The one thing that was always the same was that the weekly show was always called Dynamite.” “It was probably around 2011 when I wanted to do more great wrestling matches every week, so in my fantasy wrestling league I created a second show,” said Khan. “Incredibly, that was Rampage. I actually had a third show that never came to fruition, but it was kind of fun, and it was called Tuesday Night Tag Team Fights. I had these different shows, but Dynamite and Rampage were always the primary shows. I have done Dynamite since 1995 and Rampage since 2011.” “There was a guy who passed away years later who was in the fantasy wrestling league I was in with my regular e-wrestling friend, and I remember him saying this so well,” began Khan. “He said that we were writing for an audience of just each other, but in a way we were writing for 10,000 fans or 5,000 fans that were in the arenas of these imaginary shows. Somehow you can still tell when stuff is over or not over with the fans, which is funny because they’re not real! But he was right! My other friend and I had never articulated it like that before, but he was right. That spoke to me.” “In e-wrestling, you get ideas and try stuff out. I was a really young kid; I’m not saying it was impactful, or that you can jump straight from that into the wrestling business, but it was definitely a fun way to get your reps in,”
Sabu was my favorite wrestler and this was the first barbed wire match I ever saw. Blew my mind. I think he needed something like 100 stitches in bicep. He basically taped it shut during the match….horrific
Having had an unfortunate run-in with barbed wire when I was 12, I feel the pain from each moment in that clip.
Pretty disappointing promo from MJF… I did like the angle. We’ll set up last week with Daniel begging Mox not to hit him and MJF using the knucks this week.
What did you not like about it? I thought it was excellent. We closed the Mox/Punk/Hangman era of the World Title and really propelled forward with MJF. Feels like a long reign is coming, all the way through the "contract expiration" in 2024, and we'll recreate some version of Punk/MITB.
MJF is kinda running stale on me. He's Miz that's allowed to swear, but without the self-depricating theatrics to counter balance his smarminess. Every interview and promo are starting to blend together.
he’s probably gonna bring back Keira Hogan to get revenge on Jade after she got fired although AEW neckbeards are convinced he’s bringing in Sasha to fight Jade apparently
It seems like they are hell bent on MJF being a bad guy but I just don't see anybody on their roster the crowd will actively want to see unseat MJF (even Bryan) so it seems like they are fighting the fans a bit on that one. I think the crowd would respond more to MJF being the antihero they can root for even if it doesn't actually fit his character. They're gonna have to really invest lots of time into him attempting to get heat compared to how easy it'd be to get him cheers.
Terrible segment. And Bow Wow was relevant 20 years ago… at least she blessed us with that outfit… looking amazing
It was bland, crowd wasn’t really reacting to him so he tried multiple times to rile them up. I don’t mind him cutting “2024 bidding war” promos when he’s a character trying to be the man and feels under appreciated. But to say you want WWEs attention and want to jump ship as world champion makes the company feel small. He tried to save it a bit with the Hollywood thing. He’s got a high bar he set for himself. I didn’t think last night was his best. But I did like the close. Regal is to HHH what Patterson was to Vince. He’s so talented maybe you see him as a on screen role but I think HHH is brining him in for much more than that backstage and especially for recruitment for the next set of NXT talent.
Promo wasn't bad but it was really long. No matter how good you talk, you start losing the attention of the audience after a while.
Thought it was fine; just needed a run-in by Starks. Thought the same of the Jade promo. You can't just have heels come out and talk for ten minutes. A babyface has to interrupt.
This is a really weird agreement if true but Regal’s son is there so I can understand it. And the backstage role he had there with building up NXT seemed like something he really liked and that just wasn’t available in AEW.
For someone challenging for the belt in 2 weeks he definitely needed more shine, either in the form of him getting some mic time interrupting MJF or just in MJF devoting more of that long promo about Ricky
SRS reported Regal contract is just up in December. Don't think need to read much more into it than he probably gets a bigger role there
I’m not into NXT 2.0 the way HBK develops and books talent isn’t for me. He’s very much Vince of the late 80’ and early 90’s style.
