List them super high priced and calm them “back stage tickets” some dumb dumb will read back stage passes someone will bite.
Yeah, you don't want them. Sell them now, wait for the market to dip, and buy regular seats for the same price in a few months. So much of her set is visual
mine are to the side of the stage. I don’t think the seats will be terrible. My ticket does say “side view” on it.
We had these for rep tour. We could see everything on one half fine, but the stage was kind of a wedge, so the far side wasn’t visible. . The ushers came and scattered the section into different seats just before the first act and we ended up about 20 yards in front of the main stage on the side bowl.
Pretty empty statement imo. Other artists have managed to opt out of dynamic pricing, make resale next to impossible, etc. There was a way to avoid a lot of this.
im not gonna give her a pass on any of it, but I would probably guess she is like 8 people removed from that decision making she probably just gets asked by someone on her team who relays it to someone else who tells someone at ticketmaster that tells someone else at ticketmaster, etc
She did opt out of dynamic pricing. Do you have any idea how much floor seats would have been with this amount of demand if she didn't? Blaming Swift for Ticketmaster's failure is pretty obtuse. Spoiler I just wanted to post those boobs again. They are real (maybe), and they are spectacular.
Taylor cleaned up at the America Music Awards. 6 nominations...6 wins. Domination. Favorite Pop Album - Red (Taylor's Version) Favorite Female Pop Artist Favorite Country Album - Red (Taylor's Version) Favorite Female Country Artist Favorite Music Video - All Too Well: The Short Film ARTIST OF THE YEAR Spoiler BTW - That brings her total AMA's to 40...the most awarded artist in AMA history.
Was talking to my wife about this. The only blame you can really levy would be extreme restrictions on selling to others. Not sure how easy that is to do for massive tours like this. But, like 80% of the tickets when to pre-sale/pre-registration fans? The other to Capital One? I'm sure there were some bots an re-sellers in that presale, but at least a good bit of guard rails were put up to limit the tickets. My wife couldn't get in, but one of her friends did and got them tickets.
After several weeks I am now prepared to confidently say that Would've, Could've, Should've is the best song on Midnights. That is all.
Along with, “Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first.” If that was I deed a reference to her virginity (which is the common belief), that’s devastating.
Sure. But that term, "ages like fine wine" is usually used for people that don't show signs of aging into their 50s, etc. Saying she aged well from 20 to 30 is basically just saying, "she didn't pull a Britney".
This is an excellent summary of (as far as current female musical icons go) why T-Swift > Beyoncé. Spoiler
I’ll admit I probably like Taylor Swift the least of all the people that check this thread. So are you saying that’s also the case for her, and she gets too much credit? I’ve always thought people say that she writes all her stuff herself.
She does. She has a handful of others that routinely help her co-write some aspects of some songs but yes, she's a legitimately outstanding song writer.
Over the past couple months, we have just objectively watched that Rhianna does not have more influence than Swift. We've just watched, again, objectively, that Swift has more influence than any entertainer in the world...man or woman. It's absurd by Forbes.
I'm guessing they're taking it beyond their musical influence while still categorizing it as most powerful female musicians. Rihanna is killing it outside of her music. As of this summer, Forbes estimated Rihanna's net worth at 1.7 billion, while Taylor's was 570 million.
More than game show host Donald John Trump? I kid. But she might have more influence in music than any other musician but she sticks to music so others will be rated higher
She founded luxury cosmetics line, Fenty Beauty, which is part of the Louis Vuitton conglomerate. She then subsequently founded the lingerie line, Savage x Fenty.
She's made a shit ton in music as you would expect. Plus tons and tons of sponsorship deals. But what puts her net worth over the top...
some of you fuckers are like boomers that don't read their latest email before responding to the original.
Reply all every single time! Side note, that just reminded me of the boards that include every previously quoted post in the quoted post to whoever you're directly responding to. Old rivals threads were unreadable.
This makes sense. Obviously no idea what she does moving forward, but Taylor has released 10 original albums in 16 years. That's an insane pace to keep up. Midnights seems like a perfect bookend to the write-record-tour-repeat portion of her career.
