I really like our cuisinart pans, especially for the price. The next ones I get will probably be made in.
I have misen carbon steel pans and I don’t like them usually use butter pat cast iron or mauviel copper HTH

We have the 8 qt. https://madeincookware.com/products/stainless-steel-stock-pots/8-quart and it’s extremely well made. I’m sure it’s not the fanciest or best, but it definitely does the job for us.
While on pans, I need to replace an old non-stick straight-sided sauté pan that’s probably around 3.5-4QT. If I had to guess, it’s probably our most used pan, so looking for another non-stick but considering enameled cast iron. Anyone have one they love? Tramontina doesn’t seem to make one, and All Clad and Made In are basically same price. Leaning towards All Clad bc of the curved corners at the moment
Maybe something like this? https://www.t-falusa.com/Cookware/P...Nonstick-Black-5-Qt-Jumbo-Cooker/p/2100112165
Bought Speed Queen washer and dryer last year. The washer is a top load. Actually had an electrical issue about 3 months ago with the front panel on the washer and the dealer came and replaced it for free the very next day. SQ have a great warranty policies if an issue pops up. Other than that, so far so good. Washer is extremely quiet and has a ton of features.
$3/month for some decent guided meditation and breathing exercises. My kids have been driving me up the wall more frequently and I need a quick/easy way to reset.
Going to try and fix some electronics around the house. Starting with my AV receiver. Signstek MESR-100 V2 Auto Ranging in Circuit ESR LCR Meter Capacitor / Low Ohm Meter Up to 0.01 to 100R, Support in Circuit Testing
new yamaha engines or really any outboards are super hard to come by right now due to supply chain BS. I heard 1st or 2nd quarter of 2023 should be easier.
I know the two best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it, but this looks like the 3rd best day. Damn, I want a boat.
buying two of these to build pc's with my kids but upgraded to i5 https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/wsQzK8/entry-level-intel-gaming-build
i know, I looked it up, just saying that’s rare on a 21 ft boat. Usually start seeing boats rated for 300 hp at 23 feet.
I agree. It has a “fine-tune” speed control button on it that looks like a second trim button. One or two taps up increases rpm by 100.
Any advice? Looking for a 17” laptop under $500 for a present for my mother. She basically plays dumb online games, shops on Amazon, posts crap on Facebook and does her taxes on her current laptop. Saw a few HP’s on Amazon but wasn’t sure because I have no clue about these things.
Heading into my first winter in NYC (after living in the south my whole life) and I desperately need to invest in a good parka. Seems like almost everyone I see is in a Canada Goose. I think they look pretty good and the Lifetime Warranty sounds promising. Any rec's for a great parka?
Paying that much for a coat is bananas to me but I've probably spent a bunch of money on stuff that people find dumb so not throwing stones. The coat matters less than layering though imo. Any normal coat brand will be good in most weather if you layer so it's more about the style that you like.
Basically depends on how much you want to spend. Patagonia and North Face have parkas half the cost of CG that perform close to as well. Big thing I’d look for is an insulated inner and waterproof/resistant outer. How much insulation will change the price, but I prefer them as 1 coat as opposed to wearing a down jacket with a shell over it. Obviously something with a gortex outer is going to be a bit more expensive but is water proof. I have 2 of these and have been happy and found them for about half off. I also have a Patagonia and Marmot and all seem to do well. Nothing wrong with Canadian Goose, but there are several other options. https://www.thenorthface.com/en-us/...-new-outerboroughs-jacket-pNF0A4QZ8?color=JK3
