Yeah I believe it was Greg and Tanya and Albie and Portia at the same restaurant in one of the earlier episodes. The Cam/Daphne + Ethan/Harper foursome are unexpectedly (given their age) the ones who seem to be in the hotel restaurant every night, unless I’m misremembering.
haven’t watched last nights episode yet, but it is weird. Also, daphne at beginning of episode one told the people who just arrived how awesome the hotel food was.
Im guessing the preview for next week Spoiler is just making it seem like Ethan kills Cameron? No way daphne doesn’t have a bigger reaction to finding Cameron in the water.
So she's being filmed or something to crush the prenup? Seems incredibly unnecessarily complicated if they go with that so I assume I'm wrong. I don't think any of the two couples ends up dead. That would be odd based on what we know.
I don’t think they’ll kill her off. I think Jack drunkenly tipping off Portia is going to mess up whatever plan they had with Greg
My sure to be way off theory is that Albie dies in some way while white knighting for the sex worker.
I think that was done intentionally to show how the cast of characters are all a bunch of rich vapid assholes that want to spend all that money to travel to italy only to never leave the resort
I think this is their plan. But the show has been so heavy handed with Tanya being the victim that I doubt it's her.
I think this is exactly right. And when they finally venture out of the resort, they think they will be welcomed into someone’s random house and get yelled off
I’ve seen that argument on twitter a bunch, but I don’t think it works in Italy. These type of people love nothing more than finding some rustic “hidden gem” with a friendly old waiter that they can describe in detail to their friends back home. Italy is full of wealthy American tourists and they certainly don’t stick to the hotel from my experience. The obvious answer is that it’s an easy way to drive the plot by having moments where the different character groups can interact.
This part was great. 3 old crones who hate men, probably because they knew men like the 3 who showed up at their house uninvited.
I think this is right. I don't think they're making a statement by having them all eat at the resort every night. Just a good way to have the prostitutes walk by the Johns, for Albie to see Portia at the bar, more jokes about how bad the piano man was.
I mentioned to my wife that I would be completely caught between two minds going to a place like that. Obviously you want to explore and experience, but the place is also so amazing that it would be hard to leave.
There are lots of very expensive hotels that offer half or full board dining options. Hotel I stayed at in Italy had a Michelin starred restaurant in it and I would have considered an option like that if it was available considering how isolated it was like this hotel supposedly is too. Did get a killer breakfast every day there.
Just finished season 1 are you kidding me with that shit. ARMOND? The best character? Fuck. And Rachel stays with Shane? This sucks.
he’s just a kid who doesn’t realize he’s turning into his dad who didn’t realize he had turned into his dad not sure what he’s done to hate
I'm not so much triggered by him being the nice guy. But have slowly seen him become the things he hates about his dad and grandpa.
It’s exhausting. Especially after his “I usually pick broken girls” comment to Portia earlier this season.
I am not sure I agree with that. He didn’t hook up with her because she was a hooker. He didn’t even know. I don’t think the idea that she is a hooker is why he is attracted to her. He is not cheating on anyone. So what about him makes him his dad and grandfather?
