Yea, that’s exactly how it happened…You’re so full of shit, go back and read what I posted. I came to your team thread and jokingly said that I was consoled by the fact that Schiano would beat Day in a fight and that my school wasn’t in a state that’s a Republican shithole, and you got your scarlet panties in a bunch. It’s funny how the guys who scream no politics in sports threads tend to be the same people with shitty political views.
…but you’re a libertarian. Objectively the most moronic proposed form of (or lack of) government someone could advocate for…but I’m the moron because I don’t distinguish between anarchy and libertarianism, which aren’t all that different. Got it.
Cool. So stfu about what I did or didn’t say. I’m sure you’ve got some political posts you can go back and edit instead.
Rutgers v Michigan State moved to MSG (for feb 4, not Jan 19). While it sucks that we lose a game at the RAC, MSG is probably the only venue I don’t mind as much.
Hey everyone enjoy your bye game against Nebraska because this is the worst power 5 basketball team ever assembled
If you say not a complaint it gives you carte blanche to complain. It’s similar to saying no disrespect right before ripping someone to shreds. I don’t make the rules. It’s how the game is played.
In his defense our crowds suck and so does Carver. Our marketing/ticket department is just sad, they don’t offer any promotions or cheap tickets to try and get a crowd for these lesser opponents, they take the blue hairs money and are content. Then to make the students sit in a shitty corner and it doesn’t even feel like a college game environment.
We had a 15-0 lead yesterday against Cal-Baptist. We managed to hold on to win in the closing seconds of OT.
Cal Baptist was just using the first 10 minutes of game time to warm up. It’s going to be a long year in conference for Minnesota
It’s a very young team and minutes are getting spread quite wide. I’m hoping we see some major development from the freshmen. I feel like it’s a class that in 3 years we will view as a good recruiting class but its more role players or bigs that need to grow in to their role rather than impact freshmen.
Holy shit In that class, you have a Jaden, Braeden, and Kadyn... and a Pharrel This generation is gonna suck so bad
Kadyn Betts wasn’t even one I was thinking of. He was a 4-star in the 2023 class that reclassified. He is redshirting this year so the coaches are calling him part of the incoming class with Evans and Christie even though he is already here.
Wisconsin beat Dayton 43-42 and the box score is even more glorious than the headline. The team shot 24% on FG and 22% from 3 with the starters only contributing 19. Wisconsin Starters Crowl - 3/11, 0/4 from 3 Wahl - 1/8, 0/2 Klesmit - 1/5, 1/3 Hepburn - 1/10, 0/3 Davis - 1/7, 0/4 Shooting percentage from starters: 17% (7/41) and 6% (1/16) from 3. Crowl (3) was the only starter to make more than 1 FG. https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore/_/gameId/401483423 I can't believe that is a W.
It really will be. We are the worst free throw shooting team I’ve ever seen in my life. We have a lot of careless turnovers and defensive lapses that will haunt us against anything better than mediocre opponents. I was hoping getting Battle back would help, and it does, but these other things aren’t going away.
If we are going to get this kind of offense from Battle and Garcia, the Gophers will be lucky to win two games in conference play.
Jaelin Llewellyn from Michigan looks like he just tore his ACL. Best wishes on a better diagnosis and/or recovery.
Yeah and because we haven't developed a pg, that's gonna hurt. Big opportunity for Dug McDaniel to make this his team, but I'm not a fan so far
