An objectively bad conversation going on between 2 users ITT that I would have bet ignored each other years ago
depends on what kind you get from what I’ve read some of the dry rub ones aren’t very good without sauce, but just in my experience, the ones I’ve had were great
Had it like a week or so ago. It's good. I thought it was funny that they put a slice of cheese on top of the fried cheese square. Best detail was the garlic bread bun.
To be honest it really wasn't as much cheese as I had hoped. It's a little piece and mostly just the breading when you bite into it. You know some mozzarella sticks the breading is like 3x the diameter of cheese when you bite into it? It's like that.
Haven't had their chicken sandwich before but my biggest issue with my local Wingstop is they always give you an exact timeframe for your food to be ready and it's never done on-time. Ex. They'll tell you 17 minutes, and I'll show up exactly at that time and end up waiting there for another 20 mins
yeah I ordered mine through Uber eats because I knew they’d take forever. Didn’t want to wait on it myself
Agreed. I enjoyed it. Maybe too cheesy. Wish there was more marinara. Garlic bread bun was a highlight. There’s so many variables in the sandwich, I’m not sure you’d ever get the exact same tasting once twice.
Wingstop is the only place I've ever sent in a complaint for in my life because the service was so bad. The one near me seems to have like 100% turnover every 2 weeks. Still order from there on a regular basis
Honestly the only reason I think I’ve even noticed is because they give exact times. If they’d just say 20-25 mins and it ended up being 40 whatever. Just find it weird when I get told 22 minutes or some shit and they’re way off
I’m also moving next week back to the area I used to live in near the wing stop. We’ll see if they’ve improved
Wingstop is ok if you’re wanting a buffalo chicken sandwich (and maybe has too much salt) Popeyes > if you actually like fried chicken to come through, which I do
I wish I was talented enough to do something like this in the kitchen. But I’m not and that’s why I go to Popeyes
oh sorry I meant those RB&R videos he posts every Monday (u shared an example of one). If you haven’t seen them all they are delightful
Oooooh ok I'll check out more. He seems like a guy I'd get along well with. So many good hole in the wall spots in NOLA. I trust their dives more than any other city honestly. There used to be a place in Kenner at Williams and Vets called Potato King. Maaaaan they had baked potatoes as big as my head filled with anything you can imagine. My go to was the blackened shrimp and crawfish with some amazing cheese sauce. Fuck it was good. And of course Bonny and Clyde's gas station po boys. NOLA is the GOAT food city in this country for someone like me and nobody will ever change my mind. Other places may be better with the foofoo stuff but the NOLA menu just hits me in the right spot.
Jollibee is good. Solid fried chicken but you gotta try the different noodles and drinks too. I wouldn't say their spaghetti with hot dogs was anything special but it wasn't gross or anything.
I mean its more appetizing than Skyline It's a Philippino chain so it's got some things that might seem odd for an American chicken joint. But it's good.
