Throw two pick sixes with your QB that was originally going to be the third or fourth string QB entering the summer
Bol insider Arky info. Per my Cousin who was on that Strength and Conditioning Staff (now fired/let-go), KJ Jefferson was paid 600,000 Lump Sum to stay with the team (transfer portal tampering from elsewhere). So, there's your going rate for an SEC QB of that caliber. I gotta bunch of stories about how that staff turnover went down (chaos), and with all of the player exodus, but that's boring lol. One last micro nugget, Sam Pittman is on a war path, getting into fights with other coaches. Strength and Conditioning coach was fired because Pittman tried to play injured players (and did I believe), which caused the coach to push back
One of the reasons Pittman fired Jamil Walker was for going around and telling other players what others were getting in NIL money and creating a lot of issues within the team. Pittman doesn’t just fire anyone Kiffin has been trying to backchannel getting KJ for the last two years too
“it happened yesterday and since it’s out…. His kids were pulled out by the current and he and his sister jumped in and saved them. He was take via helicopter while sister was taken via ambulance. He is in ICU but stable as of now. His dad expects him to be out of icu in a day or so” also his dad posted this:
Damn that sounds like a wild story. That’s awesome they were able to save their kids. I do wonder how they were able to save them while getting so fucked up. Did they just swim themselves to exhaustion? Would love to hear an account of that. Sounds pretty fucking heroic of them.
