I kinda like it. Every story doesn't need to be an epic, in my opinion. Keep the individual movies tighter, ensemble movies can push closer to 2.5 - 3 hrs.
To me the issue is they’re forcing them to be 2 hours when some stories need more. They could have made Thor 15 minutes longer and made it 1000x better with more Gorr.
Wrath of Khan was 11 minutes shorter. Raiders of the Lost Ark was 10 minutes shorter. Raimi's Spider-Man was 4 minutes shorter. A movie does not need to be 2.5 hours to tell an effective story.
100% agree it needed more Gorr. Just think it's possible to tell a good Thor vs Gorr story in roughly 2 hours, cut some of the Jane stuff or the Zeus absurdity
No one is saying a movie can’t be good if it’s 2 hours, the problem is forcing it when it should be longer or shorter.
Oh I get that. I was more trying to make point that these movies just need good writing and editing and a 2 hour mandate won't matter.
Was it a new trailer or “a new look” behind the scenes clip thing? Thought I saw something like that?
My guess is it will be the trailer they showed at SDCC. We still haven’t seen the SDCC footage for Ant Man or GotG3.
I’d be surprised if it’s not a trailer during halftime. Disney likes to drop them with MNF once or twice a year for their blockbusters.
We've seen most of the Ant Man footage. The SDCC footage leaked a while back and it’s pretty similar to the teaser we got. Hopefully it will be all new stuff. We need GotG3 footage for sure.
This is always about the time frame Marvel releases a 2nd trailer. Also guessing The Marvels trailer will be released a week or two (maybe even a Super Bowl spot) before Quantumania so that it can be attached to the previews.
God, I’m going to end up pulling for another super villain, aren’t I? Majors is an incredible addition to the universe.
feel free to spoiler but do we know what it is that Kang needs? I assume some way out of the quantum realm but comic readers may already know exactly what it is.
