Only took a month or so for the Ole Miss narrative to go from we NIL rich and a better job than AU to AU was always better just closer to Arky/OM than Bama/UGA. Its a real shame Ole Miss is gonna end up ruining Lane's chance at the Bama job one day.
Lane has pretty much given up, as evidenced by his recent results on the recruiting and portal trail. Not sure that is ole miss’s fault. That said, I guess you could make the argument of how hard it probably is to recruit young African American players to a program and culture so historically embroiled with racism. Probably wears on you after a while
My post quoted was from 10/31, you dunce. At that point, you were clamoring for Lane. Only one narrative has changed.
Whatever helps you sleep at night. I would still happily take Lane fyi I kinda feel bad he didn’t take the life line we gave him.
For the record, I still want Lane. I wish I was in the alternate dimension where he was energized with a new, better program and killing in recruiting instead of this current dimension where he is happy to just sit and collect a huge paycheck and not do shit because he's depressed about a decision that was 100% caused by his selfish teenage son.
That nation leading NIL war chest is just going to waste. They should do the right thing and give that money to academics.
It’s hard to tell what you requested because you quoted the wrong post. if you’re looking for the raw data, here you go: https://auburn.edu/administration/i...al-summaries/enrollment-gender-ethnicity.html
Then google it. What would that show anyway — that y’all aren’t admitting black people, that they aren’t applying, or that they’re deciding to go elsewhere?
Love how we glossed over Confederate general mascot and Confederate flags that used to be displayed across the stadium that were only removed when pressured
yeah gross didn’t even make it to signing day number 2 before y’all went all CAW CAW on us no way this backfires.
Don’t forget a few of them took the brave stance to remove the “au” or “aub” from their TMB handles to protest the hire
I changed my name from Corky Aubucek long before I joined this board and Auburn hired Hugh Freeze fwiw
No one glossed over it. It’s shameful, and something that we finally addressed — the flags 25 years ago and the mascot 20. Ten years ago, we started renaming buildings and putting plaques up on campus to contextualize its history. Certainly not enough, but there’s an observable effort to be more inclusive. Y’all are cool being Montgomery’s white flight suburb. And it’s always the Auburn fans who wink wink nudge nudge “you should’ve never changed Colonel Reb.”
