I took over the Colts on the PFF simulator and turned #4 into Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jordan Addison, Joey Porter, Jr. and Jimmy G (and Matt Ryan's contract off the books) so I think the Colts can manage to get #1
I’m not saying I wouldn’t send a bunch of booze and pills to Jim Irsay and then spend the next 3 months calling him late at night with crazy offers for number 1 if I were Chicago
This is the pipe dream. Get a bidding war between Hou and Indy for 1. Trade back to 2 for a haul. Then get a second haul from Indy getting desperate and jumping to 2. Then draft Carter at 4.
I would like good wide outs on my team… currently we have no studs. Don’t think Pittman changes that.
I don't think that's in the works or anything but Bears fans shrugging off Pittman like he's nobody is kinda funny to me given their WR situation. He's not a top tier WR but he's immediately the best WR on the Bears and only Mooney is even in the area code.
as a fan of a team that has picked at the top a lot recently, Bears fans are delusional with their trade expectations
just looked up bears WRs with 1K yard seasons since marshall in 2013 and its literally 2 dudes alshon jeffrey and ARob
We don’t have a #1 WR on roster. We don’t even have an top tier #2 on the roster. So congrats on Pittman being the best on a roster largely filled with WRs who should only play on special teams.
Mostly due to the insane number of targets. With as many passes thrown his way he should’ve had 1300-1400 yards.
That's insinuating that passes thrown his way were catchable Dalton, Foles, and Fields as a rookie weren't helping
Yeah my point isn't that Pittman is Chase or something. Just that he's a solid WR on a rookie deal. Seemed weird to blow that off considering what the Bears have there.
I don't know what the (your) definition of a solid WR is in the NFL (I would say it's a top 3 WR on an average team). Which would make Pittman much better than a solid WR while not being elite like Chase.
Yeah, if he comes back he’s at best QB selection 2. Which he is currently 1 or 2 now. Caleb Williams will be first next year. Wasn’t it Jake Locker that did this? Was supposed to be 1 or 2 pick, came back senior season then was 8?
Yeah, I have no faith in the Texans, but they had a decent draft, cap room and I think they could get Payton as coach. Of course it’s the Texans though so they will fuck it up.
24. Jacksonville Jaguars: Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia Back in the 2006 NFL Draft, the Jaguars drafted a big combo tight end late in the first round: Marcedes Lewis, who’d go on to be a Pro Bowler in Jacksonville. Darnell Washington is even bigger than Lewis and has better upside as both a pass catcher and blocker. His unique skill set will mean he’s valued differently by every offense, but it would be fun to see how he could blossom within the Jaguars’ offensive ecosystem. Love this.
No way falcons go offense / offense with their first 2 unless they go crazy in FA with defense which doesn’t seem like their MO
I almost commented the same but it's so tiring at this point. I don't want him at 8 but if it comes down to it give me Broderick Jones over this guard. He needs the NFL supplement program for year and then he's a plug in LT.
