oh yeah definitely this if you’re asking what you should do. You can always decline to be a voluntary witness but he can get your statement eventually anyway
It would have to be a pretty damn good buddy if I'm going to show up in court for his lawsuit. And it better 100% be legit. If I have an inkling that he's just doing it just to get paid then I would tell him to find someone else.
Our state golf association magazine had him as the cover story the most recent issue. I've seen him around Richmond and have played in MG/events he's been in. Super nice dude Virginia Golfer Jan / Feb 2023 (joomag.com)
I'd try to stay out of it I think but as others have stated, just tell the exact truth if questioned in any sort of formal way. It's better that the guy suing isn't a friend of yours. You'd be much more uncomfortable if he was actually a good friend and you thought it may be frivolous. That would suck.
The wife of the driver called my wife and apparently he’s being sued as well so it’s gonna be a shit show
Andddddd you’re now at the point where you’re completely justified to tell this person you’d rather stay out of it completely.
This is the level of genius he is. He’s still out playing golf and doing everything because his back isn’t really hurt but says it’s ok because the tee time isn’t under his name.
I hope this guy doesn't get a settlement before it actually goes to court. He's gonna get destroyed in a court room.
I wouldn’t participate in the lawsuit and I would subtly tell the defendants that their boy is still playing and to bring a video camera to the course so some opportunistic dipshit doesn’t get an undeserved payday
I think subpoenaing someone on Christmas Eve and expecting them to make small talk with you two weeks later might be the dumbest expectation I’ve ever heard.
"This guy was all fucked up and hit me and I want the club to pay" Seems like that would be between him and Henry Ruggs.

I’m on a mission to find him and throw a tee at him. I get there Thursday night. And have Friday and Saturday to myself before I got to work. I’m going to try and find him
I can't believe anyone would pay $300 for this but they keep showing it to me on IG so someone must be doing it
My putting has been trash lately. Do the perfect putting mat or similar products actually help? Wouldn't mind being able to roll putts at home
I like mine. I don't use it enough but when I do I can see a difference. I'm generally going from no practice at all to using the mat with the pressure putt thing. So it's definitely better than nothing.
Get a mat and make your own gate to dial in your path and start line. tough to work on speed honestly.
Today may be the windiest I’ve experienced in San Diego. Trees down. Power outages. 18 wheelers knocked over. Seems to have calmed down in the last hour or so. Wonder if it’ll be a big advantage to the players out late.
