I was today years old when I learned these existed. https://vikingindustrier.com/products/grill-cabins
I'm still trying to understand the purpose. Some are small, like to be in a backyard. Some are huge, like you'd have them at a hunting camp. I assume they are meant to be used in places where it's cold af and and you can't stand outside for 5 minutes while cooking? I mean look at this mf'er
Do they have power? I can't tell. I assume you could build it with power. Give me that double wide, a TV, a fridge, and a shitter and I'm straight.
Nice thing about this is if one wants to be single and live in one of these, you just buy it and boom, mission accomplished
I have been working from home full time for the past 6 months and my wife has said on more than one occasion that I should get a "nice" shed and use that as my office. Joke's on her. This is happening.
what’s the question? The low is -19 Monday and I’d love to spend the entire week making food and reading books in a yard castle
That 9.2 x 9.2 double is perfect About 100 Sq ft on each end, office on one end, grill on the other. They have insulated floor and roof options too If it's log walls like it looks, you won't need much insulation there Running electrical without being ugly surface mount will be the trick, but I'm sure they have that all figured out
If they could do a red brick colonial I could probably make this happen one my daughters are done with their swingset
I was actually gunna follow that recipe exactly this weekend Delayed until next weekend cause family came to visit
Wanted to make crispy on the outside-soft on the inside potatoes and I feel really good about these. hanger steak and risotto on the side.
Followed this recipe for the most part. Really like the texture of the parboil+roast combo. Flavor is on point too. https://www.foodbymaria.com/crispy-roasted-potatoes/
Will be in Houston next week for work. What are the better BBQ places there now? Ate at Pinkerton's 4-5 years ago. I'll be on the west side in Memorial City near the 8 and 10 intersection. It'd be Tuesday and Wednesday for any of those that are closed in the middle of the week.
Supposed to rain all day tomorrow so my plan for smoking ribs for the game is in jeopardy. Is it totally sacrilege to put them in the oven as an alternative?
Jk to me, if outside doesn’t work, then use the oven if you’re still looking to make ribs. Obviously won’t be as good, but they’ll be fine and taste good I’m sure
Coincidentally, making ribs in the oven is what made me purchase my wsm (rip) back in the day. That was 10 years ago now, which is crazy to think about
