For those of you that love clone wars, but don’t check LEGO threads. They are very cool sets to have as a desk piece at the home office.
So we’re just doing Raiders now? Kinda annoying it’s two weeks of no plot progression after the Cody episode.
Kind of think Bad Batch can't figure out who it wants its audience to be. Because I think the best version of the show is when it deals with more adult stuff, but the week to week stuff they just refuse to get away from is a kid's show. Clone Wars seems like it kind of dealt with similar stuff, but that show had so many different combinations of characters it could throw in that it could still make things entertaining. Don't think it works that well when you have one crew doing the same stuff all the time. This week's was much better than the previous two, at least.
So eventually the sniper will be told to kill the batch or Omega. Text me when that happens or when any Rex/Cost storylines happens. Outside of that it’s pretty dumb.
I keep having to remind myself that Bad Batch is a kid's show. With that said, even my 9 yr old though the last 2 weeks were stupid. This week's episode was fine though.
What am I being defensive about? All I posted was a bunch of crazy-ass shit they were allowed to have happen in Clone Wars. I've stayed out of the Bad Batch talk because I don't watch it. Watched the first season and have no desire to watch any more of it, especially one episode week to week.
I don't know exactly what this list is trying to suggest, but if it's slandering the name of Hondo I will not stand for it.
I can't repeat enough how little I care about the AotW Bad Batch episodes. You haven't done enough to get me to really care about the main characters. So unless you are expanding the universe of the early empire, I don't really care to watch Bad Batch.
it was always an odd choice to me for a new series. I assume they're just Filoni favorites or something.
Unfortunately, I think a lot of the reason to do these stories around clones and the transition to the Empire is to retcon the Palpatine clone crap from ROS. I have to assume we see way more of it in this season of Mando too.
I think Filoni simply loves that era and wants to play around in it as much as possible. I am completely fine with this btw. But if you are going to play around in the early Empire era, I need meat on the bones of the story, not Adventures of the week that could be part of pretty much any sci fi universe out there.
I was looking at this going "Attack of the W...?" and it took me until To realise you weren't doing an "Attack of the Clones" pun
I am okay with them retconning the entire sequel trilogy out of existence. I don't care how confused it makes casual watchers. They took the book EU and made it "legends." That's the precedent. Do the same with the sequel trilogy, despite how much I enjoyed TFA and loved TLJ. It's worth it just to wipe the board and not have to worry about being pigeonholed into what stories you're building to.
Kinda sick of the Filoni worship, definitely don’t need to start giving him credit for things he didn’t actually do
