full schedule release at 2pm but some leaks . we play Oklahoma on the road. West Virginia is the first B12 home game. UCF doesn’t play TCU and Texas
All things considered, pretty good schedule for our first year. No OUT at home, but winnable ( with a real quarterback ).
New Twitter defaults to "suggested for you" instead of "people you follow" every time you open the app
I was more mad about the quote from Gus but yeah less of these wannabe UCF reporters on my timeline would be great.
What’s silly is that if he stayed healthy they might’ve fell into the cotton bowl. So he isn’t wrong. but the idea his downfield throwing was improving is not great
On second thought I guess you could say his throwing was getting better BUT still really bad. But I guess it was technically better at times. I dunno. I just want him gone.
If I practiced all season I also would likely throw better. I'd still be unworthy of a D1 QB starting position role but hey I improved right?
New Twitter always for me now be like “we think you might really like Jordan Peterson’s opinion on the role of women in society!”
I did the same by accidentally watching a short that had Tristan Tate, the brother of Andrew Tate, that I didn’t know existed.
Quotes like that from Gus (that kid is an idiot btw and his tweets annoy the heck out of me) are why I’m more pessimistic about the future of our football team that any time outside the last year of GOL. I want to love us and be excited for the next couple of years, but Gus makes it challenging if not impossible.
I understand the fear, in some way we will never shake off the beaten dog syndrome as UCF fans. But JRP only has one more year to hurt us, and if we like TC and McClain, and we at least have to see if Gus really does give up playcalling, why be pessimistic? Plus, we have to take at least a moment to revel in the fact that we are where we wanted to be for so long, and at least for now it appears to be stable and healthy. When I got the email with the schedule yesterday I went back to the days of Kruczek and our OL not wearing knee braces, of playing in the MAC in front of 12 fans, of losing to Ohio in OT, of never beating P5 programs, etc etc. We are light years from that program now, I know self-hating fans is practically a genre these days but let's not forget to enjoy where we are, which is where we always said we wanted to be and where we deserved to be.
Mastodon is pretty solid once you figure it out. Some of the newer apps make it a lot easier. Check out ivory on iOS.
I listened to the coaching show that he was on early in the season week 1 or 2 and he comes off very entitled Mississippi Country Club if that makes any sense. I really hope some mlb team solves that problem for us and drafts him
We play at least 9 P5 teams next year. That’s more than the last 4 years combined. Pretty sweet after being in the dorms trying to rig up an illegal stream of ESPN3 to watch the NC State game in 2007.
Yes! I was convinced Danny was gonna hire Will Healy as our head coach. To get him as advisor to Gus is huge.
He was the hot young name at Austin Peay when they player us in 2017 or whatever for that hurricane make up game. Don’t know anything else about him than he was the media darling that year
some of our fans wanted him as a candidate after Frost left . Charlotte went bad for him but seems like a quality staff add to have an extra voice to hopefully modernize our offense
I was someone who thought he was going to be something. Someone on this board knows him and said that job became impossible once transfer portal came to be. Had to re-recruit his whole roster every year.
Never really thought about that aspect of the portal in relation to small schools and jucos. That must be a nightmare
Sorry to interrupt your sports thread, but I figured you guys could point me in the right direction. We are contemplating a move to the Orlando area. Which area has the best schools? Been looking some in Oviedo, but where else should we consider?
