Was catching up with a friend over the weekend that's lived in Barcelona for several years. He knows a band out there, says Elon and a bunch of tech billionaires invited the band to their yacht on the Mediterranean to play, they had to all sign huge non-disclosure agreements, strict security, the works. Only thing he said about Elon was he was quiet and they did a fuckton of ketamine.
I miss the days when Whammy would have typed 4 paragraphs explaining how this was some next level business move
I've noticed that too. In the past it was because the person who was quoted blocked the quoter, but something is clearly breaking now.
Yeah, I fail to see how they’re in a better financial position now. Unless the whole not paying rent thing is the answer.
They were. Then he took it over with a mountain of debt to finance the purchase. That alone instantly transformed it into a bad business. Then his stupid decision making after the purchase made it an even worse one.
I can’t read the story to see if they clarify themselves but Bloomberg running that headline is a joke.
Lol, I bought it for 44 billion so I could save it from Bankruptcy and now it’s breakeven… says the genius the could’ve let if fail and bought it for pennies on the dollar
“Trending to break even” could mean that instead of losing $100 million a month, in the last two months it only lost $99,900,000 and $99,850,000. That would technically be trending better.
I find it highly unlikely ol' business genius himself has any idea how to read financial statements. That and he's an habitual liar. Not a chance he understands were his business really is financially.
Is his Pro-Russia stance about mineral deposits needed for TSLA batteries or am I confusing two different issues? Would suck to act this paid for just to appear paid for.
Fucking up one of the more useful features of twitter for an extra 1% revenue is good business, I presume
its 1% of revenue, not an extra 1% of revenue. $28 million makes up just over half of the drop in ad revenue from the top 30 companies in November and December alone.
After 10 years of Tesla ownership, I switched it up and bought a lightning. The ford dealership would not take my 2020 model 3 in trade. The Gm said their ownership group has 100+ dealerships all over and they now have too many teslas and can’t sell them. I drove over to carmax and the first thing the guy said to me was “I just want to make sure you’re aware of what’s happened to Tesla resale before I give you a quote” Yikes.
They redesigned/tweaked TweetDeck. I begrudgingly admit they did a good job. Except for not importing your previous settings
Sweet Christ the Twitter app and website is a pain in the ass. How do you have tweets sorted by most recent tweet rather than most popular?
