On Dellinger’s most recent podcast, he said he thinks that the Big 12 might try to poach SMU to keep them out of the PAC 12.
yea, I'm sure we're terrified of SMU going to the Pac12 If anything, we should be going after the 4 corner schools
There's 0 reason to go after SMU. They offer nothing They weren't even considered this last round when we got UH, BYU, etc
With the caveat that most expansion is done by stupid people there is no way the B12 takes SMU. They have over and over rejected them because they bring no value, that doesn't change. Not like PAC will all the sudden be huge in Texas because of one small school very few people care about, even if those people are very wealthy.
SMU has been above bad at football exactly twice. Once they got the death penalty and Craig James killed five hookers, the other Doak Walker was playing for them.
We haven't competed for a title since leaving the ACC and yall haven't competed for a title since leaving the SWC. We should both go home.
Colorado, Utah, Oregon, Washington B1G East: Rutgers Maryland Penn State Ohio State Michigan Michigan State Indiana Purdue Illinois Northwestern B1G West: USC UCLA Colorado Utah Oregon Washington Nebraska Iowa Minnesota Wisconsin That’s continuous from coast to coast minus one state, and TV deals with 3 of the major 4 networks.
Oh good, just have East winner vs West winner in the rose bowl every year and the rest of us won't have to baby the rose bowl committee
I don’t think espn values late games enough for this to increase the B1Gs current average per school. But, it would do so for the B12 Cal and Stanford *might* work with Oregon and Washington, but with Warren leaving it seems there’s more unknowns now
sure feels like the leaks of the last day or two coupled with this means some movement is about to happen
