lol I assume he got a size way too small and the ankle area created a suction cup on him. That's hilarious but user error imo.
Birthday was a few days ago and wore them for the first time to school today. He loves them. Laces are surprisingly short. My wife said something about him having enough shoes now It's only just begun.
Stalking walking in my big red boots. Living off the earth eating herbs and fruits. The children await me by the mountain in the river. And gather round the fire for the scroll that I deliver Coming immaculate from the sand the the sky. And devils taking pleasure want to measure how high.
I really wish I could get one or both matched. I just can't get past em being so different one foot to the other lol
Yeah they’re really different. Like my cobble gardens are different on each side but the shoes are the same. These are all around different.
Apparently the quality has gone down significantly because they are just churning out so many new skus so my buddy says they are constantly dealing with customer complaints on items. Whether it be the fabric was cut too small and they force it so the sweatshirt is prone to tearing or a hat sweat staining on first wear or dye's fucking up after the first wash. On top of that they pay their employees like shit ($15/hr specific to Aspen) despite that particular store pulling in millions on the first year of being open.
I haven't noticed any change in quality. They changed the blanks for the JFK shirts about 3 years ago. Not a fan of the new one. It's thicker and more of a true cotton than whatever the old blend was that made them so great. I don't buy as much as I used to though so maybe its gone down the last year and I havent noticed bc of that. Sucks to hear they pay like shit though. Not surprising for retail but still shitty.
I do agree with this. Started with the Williams 2 or 3 hoodie, can't remember. All of their stuff has been super boxy for at least 2-3 years now. Other shops like Noah and John Elliot did it too. I've just been wearing Polo tees bc I like the fit better honestly.
Most places pay 20+/hr in Aspen (saw a line cook for a dead restaurant at $30/hr this past weekend). It is beyond expensive to live there. They just made that change to cutting employee pay too I believe. He wouldn't have worked there for as long as he has. While I look forward to living in the mountains, I am not looking forward to impact on my spending ability when I eventually move there
Haha speaking of Kith, I recently said something about their pictures and wondered if Arab was still doing their pictures. Guess he was but now he's not. He was the "Kith filter" and played a pretty big role in them growing. His pics were always the best in sneakers.
Idk how I feel about this. Hope all proceeds go to Kobe's charity. If thats the case, awesome. If Nike is making money off Kobe's daughter after she passed, .
I wish I did to sell them. People are jokes wearing bullshit like that. They’ll be in “style” for a few weeks and then become the laughing stock they should have been the entire time
I’ve come to realize I wear nothing that has come out in the last ten plus years (probably 20) design wise now that I don’t wear yeezy. Old air max designs, jordan and dunk lows. The new stuff is all ugly.
For me it’s AM 1s and 90sz AF1 and Jordan 1, 3 and 4s. I do have a coup of space hippies that are my current beaters.
I don’t know where any of my space hippies are. Bottoms are too hard for me. I like the look but not the comfort
How long did you wear them? I felt the same way until I broke them in. After a few weeks and about 20 miles of walking they started getting better. I wear them for my walks now and have no issues.
