Awful at knowing music, English punk band Wire is legit. Didn't know them before hearing the songs in the excellent 3 part bio series on Carlos the Jackal (terrorist in the 70s and 80s), certainly without condoning the violence I assume they'd sharpen the guillotine for Thatcher.

 

the stretch of this album that goes from Degree through Mint is stunning. Soooooo elite
