Nice opening day win for Southern Miss over Liberty. Tanner Hall and staff gave up 1 hit. USM wins 3-0 and handed Garret Horn the L for Liberty. Horn is projected early 1st round 2024 draft and is a top SP prospect. Tanner Hall picks up right where he left off. #1 JUCO player Matt Etzel went 2/5 with a double, SB and RBI. Hate to get my hopes up but it CWS or bust this year. If Waldrep wouldn’t have transferred to UF we would easily be a top 5 team with him and Hall as our two main guys. Got some nice young arms coming in this year though.
Shitty ESPN can't even start our game stream it's 10+ minutes since the first pitch. Feel bad for the social media getting angry tweets about it.
We’re 2-0 and going for the sweep tomorrow vs James Madison. We’re not great but boy does it feel good to be a well coached team again
Sad but true. Only 1 game but liked what I saw from Cade Kurland, for better or worse he's a Berkley kid.
Grew up with a few buddies who went to Berkeley. Small school but still produces good baseball talent.
Exactly which tends to favor your travel ball sports: Baseball, softball, soccer. They don’t produce football and basketball outside of Nelson Algolor.
Kentucky and Arkansas next 2 weekends we'll see just how good but they should 3peat for the Horizon League title Alex Sogard is a really good coach
Went to watch the team my best friend coached when they played at Berkeley and almost lost my mind driving through campus to the field. Should have known when the guard at the gate told me to take a right when I crossed over the bridge.
Well kindergarten costs 24k and only goes up from there and once you get to the high school it’s in the mid 30’s.
They’ve got a good football team now with Jesuit’s old coach Ciao. Baseball coach is also a former Jesuit guy.
We still good at pitching. Swept a good Liberty team who is projected to win their conference and make regional. I believe we only gave up 2 runs all weekend.. maybe 3. Nice start to the season. If we had Waldrep it might not be fair
Welcome back college baseball. UM does everything they can to lose this game in the 9th but then does this.
FSU sweeps James Madison. Pitching is going to be an issue. We have two studs in the bullpen but Crowell likely will end up starting if the one of the main three starters struggle. Crowell we thought round start but Link likes him being able to pitch 6-7 innings in mid relief over two games a weekend. Freshman Cam Smith and DeAmez Ross look great though.
Arkansas murders Okie State 18-1 in 7 innings to bounce back from the TCU whoopin. Always enjoy beating the Cowboys
I’m seeing some Delaware, some Grand Canyon, a little Seattle, Western Michigan, and something called Umass Lowell. Another noncon weekend in ths SEC in midseason form.
