On the heels of this ^^^ It's a shame they're seemingly struggling in many ways. I didn't mind their service when I briefly tried it.
Not that it matters for 7 more months but I wonder how no local programming on CBS impacts them carrying the NFL.
yeah I switched to Ultra LTs on my TVs a couple months ago...no issues There are a couple of differences between ultra and LT though: https://www.tvguide.com/news/roku-ultra-lt-vs-roku-ultra/
There is still no word on pricing for the US yet. Here is what Netflix wants you to know about the new password-sharing rules: Set primary location: We’ll help members set this up, ensuring that anyone who lives in their household can use their Netflix account. Manage account access and devices: Members can now easily manage who has access to their account from our new Manage Access and Devices page. Transfer profile: People using an account can now easily transfer a profile to a new account, which they pay for — keeping their personalized recommendations, viewing history, My List, saved games and more. Watch while you travel: Members can still easily watch Netflix on their personal devices or log into a new TV, like at a hotel or holiday rental. Buy an extra member: Members on our Standard or Premium plan in many countries (including Canada, New Zealand, Portugal and Spain) can add an extra member sub account for up to two people they don’t live with — each with a profile, personalized recommendations, login and password — for an extra CAD$7.99 a month per person in Canada, NZD$7.99 in New Zealand, Euro 3.99 in Portugal, and Euro 5.99 in Spain.
I just hope my free peacock sub that’s tied to an xfinity account that’s no Longer active lasts until then
anyone have success using a vpn with yttv recently? we are out of the country and i was trying to set up the vpn to watch the super bowl 2nd half tonight (we have a dinner at the hotel for the first half, but it ends at 10 pm local (9 est)). i set up the vpn to miami (express VPN), but keep getting an error with yttv "unknown location". can't figure out what's going on or how to fix it. fortunately the fox sports stream on the website seems to be working, but just curious if anyone had luck or knows what i'm doing wrong
I haven’t had any luck but I’ve only tried SurfShark and Express. Express works wonders with ESPN at least.

SBJ Bankruptcy looms, but Diamond Sports still cutting deals Diamond Sports Group will miss a $140 million interest payment on Wednesday. Then Diamond has a 30-day grace period before it will file for bankruptcy on March 15. Why, then, are some NHL and NBA teams still cutting deals with Diamond’s Bally Sports RSNs? The Lightning signed a rights deal with Bally Sports Sun earlier this month, sources tell me. The Hurricanes and Ducks are close to finalizing extensions with Bally Sports South and Bally Sports SoCal, respectively, per sources. In the NBA, the Clippers renewed a deal on Bally Sports SoCal just before the regular season started. In the offseason, the Pelicans extended on Bally Sports New Orleans and the Pacers cut a deal with Bally Sports Indiana. Teams are opting to cut these deals for several reasons. In a best-case scenario, the clubs hope they will continue to be paid for their rights even through a bankruptcy. In a worst-case scenario, these teams think it’s better to be paid even for a couple of months. There’s still no alternative that would pay as much for rights as RSNs. The deals also show that the NBA and NHL are more willing to work with Diamond Sports than MLB. No MLB team has renewed a deal with Bally Sports RSN since 2021. No deal has come up since then, but teams all have stayed away from signing extensions. All eyes are on the Twins to see what that team does with its rights. The Twins' deal with Bally Sports North ends this year. The biggest question is whether it will head into bankruptcy with a restructuring plan in place. Diamond needs the NBA and NHL to be on board for this kind of restructuring deal to be put in place. MLB involvement would make this plan even stronger. The alternative is what is known as a free-fall bankruptcy, where nobody -- not Diamond, not its creditors, not the teams, not the leagues -- has control over the outcome or the timing.
Welp, paused YTTV until august 15. One of the best things about it is that you can start/stop. Cable can't match that.
Came across this today. It’s a few channels, for old people of women it’s perfect. 6.99 a month. Hallmark, History, Weather Channel and a few more if you’re interested. https://try.frndlytv.com/
I always kind of liked American Pickers. And they do some mini series at times that seem interesting,
Anybody have experience with Hulu and the unlimited screens. My folks moved to it and I just want to watch football during the fall. They're about 30 miles away and I want to stream games in the fall. Does anyone know if you can do this?
Not sure how it works with Hulu but YTTV will have their "Mosaic Mode" released by football season which will allow for up to 4 live channels at once
seems like he’s asking more about having multiple streams going from the same account, using his parents that live 30 miles away? If that’s the question, I’d suspect your close enough (ie in same tv market) where it should work but I don’t know. I know with yttv I was able to share with a friend to use during football/basketball season back when Comcast didn’t carry the ACC network. No issues
Going be hilarious seeing all these teams try and come out with like 30+/month streaming packages. These teams have been way overpaid by rsns for a long time and are going scramble to make it up before realizing that money is mostly gone. This is a bubble bursting.
