Well vancouver re-signing a player to an albatross contract and then immediately regretting it is breaking the league
Should be good for a very sexy 5-6 shots and .5 xG per game while we lose 2-1 to the rangers in the 2nd round.
Blues are gonna land a Keller/Chychrun package outta nowhere and make this turnaround quick. Bolduc, Neighbours, Hofer, Dean, Snuggerud on the way. Holy mama!
Chychurn made sense for the Blues when they thought the window is still open. Now that it's not - he'sll be UFA by the time they're ready to go for it again, and they'll have to over pay for what he is imo. Gimme Keller tho. Hometown boy!
is Seravalli crazy or does Hayes really have a market? I assume JVR will be moved, but getting something for Hayes would be a nice surprise. don't think the Flyers really have anyone else to move unless they decided to move on from guys like Provorov and Farabee.
3 games is the precedent, so it totally makes sense. Hathaway got the same. The optics of seriously concussing someone and getting a lesser punishment is certainly something though.
As long as the condition for the pick is going to the SCF or winning the Cup, that’s highway robbery (as expected).
Emily Kaplan reported last night that the two teams actually agreed in principle to a trade including Kane a few weeks ago, but then St Louis offered up Tarasenko for cheaper. So Hawks fans need to either be pissed at Kane for demanding a trade for peanuts after that, or at Davidson for overplaying his hand in the initial trade talks.
Not mad at Kane, he earned his NMC Not mad at Davidson, he did the best he could here I'm sure Just a disappointing haul in a franchise that has only been disappointing since I moved here
Friday’s live Trade Deadline shows… “So there’s nothing at all to report today but let’s recap the last two weeks…”
Sandin seems like a great gamble for the Caps to make, while Toronto recoups a pick and gets a fine replacement for Sandin.
The Sandin trade almost makes me think Dubas thought Sandin was going to take arbitration next year and price himself out of Toronto
I believe there had been some contention with Sandin and Toronto over the deal he signed this past Summer, so I am guessing there was a high probability of it spilling over into next year.
I’m trying to figure out what Toronto does next, but I imagine it involves Holl finally being traded. I just don’t see a world in which they are done even after all these moves.
