Flip Flops was the name of the bar. That was a funny spot since you had Opera across the street so the Opera rejects would go in all dressed up and then hanging with a bunch of pastel polo wearing frat kids.
Livvy Dunne is a college gymnast that gets the TikTok boys in her yard. There is a TMB thread about her and if it is appropriate to find her attractive. It goes exactly like you’d think.
At least they'll keep the team name region-specific. The Atlanta Metal Plates, playing at Buckhead Church Arena in Johns Creek
So dumb considering Phillips would be packed when the Thrashers where good then ownership destroyed everything
The issue is Truist/The Battery has killed it so all it’s doing is encouraging franchises/investors to continue doing this.
There was a really fun band at the camp at the works this afternoon. Just a spectacular day in every sense.
Can't remember which poster kept confusing Dahlonega and dawsonville, but southern living named it best small town in the state. https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/at...ng/SPTFLSRZCBEMVJ3XI645VFTAJI/?outputType=amp
Are there any food spots in centennial yards? Going to a show at State Farm tonight and figured we’d check out wild leap but I’ve not been down there yet, so didn’t know if there was anything to eat in the area.
they have food trucks at wild leap (at least for atlutd matches), you also have No Mas Cantina nearby. edit: Glenn Hotel Rooftop also has food iirc
I think Hotel Row on Mitchell Street is the hot new corridor at the moment, the lighting and curb appeal has been refurbished...but I dont know which of the announced restaurants have opened yet. there is a Thai spot from The Works ppl, a Pizza place from the Nine Mile Station group, and I think a Southern/WestAfrican spot. You may find a popup bar or speakeasy there, nothing has been consistent tenants on Hotel Row yet.. its legit a few hundred yards from Wild Leap so cant hurt to check out. nothing from Centennial Yards is open yet other than Wild Leap but its getting close. You will notice it when youre there.
I honestly thought nothing was even built out over there except for the new Wild Leap brewery. I believe they have food
Considering how long wild leap got delayed, I figured it was still pretty sparse. Really just wish summerhill was closer (walking distance) to State Farm.
Honestly my only legitimate complaint about Atlanta and unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any real way to change it. It’s got to be the worst pedestrian/cycling city in the country. I wfh now but traffic sucks in every big city and I never found it to be any worse here except when 85 burned down .
Still basically nothing by State Farm/Benz. Park Bar has good bar food, after that best options are Teds Montana Grill and Waffle House probably.
Maxs pizza is decent but depending on where you are may not be convenient bc I don’t think it connects across the railroad tracks in terms of walking.
Bold strategy risking missing that "8 o'clock and we mean it" Billy Strings show start. Great concert though.
Oh wow they executed someone then lied saying he had a guna and fired first? No cop would blatantly like like this....right?
Could be awesome if it doesn't get fucked up. https://atlanta.urbanize.city/post/centennial-yards-downtown-development-new-timeline-images
Live like 2 blocks from there, at Vin ATL a fair amount. Haven’t been to Bona Fide, but a neighbor went and said it was the best sandwich he’s ever had despite being $16.
Cop City is funded by Dunken Donuts...So good to just never go there https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...nt-fund-links-atlanta-police-cop-city-project
