Ok this is good in concept but they need to get to main parts of campus with this. I saw it’s pt. 1 so I assume we’re kicking balls in lecture halls soon enough.
yeah outside of Boomer our football team is not very likable. I cringe seeing any clip of JRP speaking
there is this weird vibe creeping into people that cover our Program that have them seemingly wanting to accept mediocrity. the investment spin jobs for Dawkins on Twitter are embarrassing . trickle down from Terry. Danny may have been an ass but our athletic program had a different feel under him.
down 9-2 early, staying with them now, we are a much better team than we played most of the year but that only goes so far
I mean the NIT sucks and is stupid but I'd be pissed if we hosted an NIT game after a disappointing season just to get first round bounced by a shitty in-state school.
Man this is so much more satisfying than early NCAA tournament wins. -boomer ucf fans and Brandon probably
Our team underachieved and sucked so hard for large portions of the season. I guess I'll take what I can get? The Gainesville media guys are all acting big mad during the press conferences with their condescending post-game questions. I'm not sold on Dawkins at all, but I do wonder what our alternative would be at this point. I'm not sure we can afford a much better option at head coach. Hopefully he can keep some of the better guys we have this offseason and make some big additions in the portal with the promise of being a starter in the best bball conference in the country.
Yeah absolutely no one turns down first round NBA money. There’s no guarantee of being drafted next year if he waits. Plus, big 3 and D wing players are the most coveted players in the NBA rn.
Especially a guy who doesn't really demand the ball, isn't a high volume shooter, etc. He would be a good addition as a role player on an NBA team while he develops.
Supposedly his brother is a pretty good player, he's just 6'5'' instead of Taylor's 6'9''. Tyler was also hurt this season and so he is taking a redshirt.
I could see him benefiting from another year in college but you don’t turn down lotto pick money to play for a doormat next season.
Ill be at practice on Monday. Right now TMC is #3 on the depth chart. Plumee than Castellanos ahead of him.
Tell Timmy’s dad if either him or Castellanos make me watch another JRP start that gaknight from the internet will never forgive them.
We were talking last night. Everyone knows Plumlee aint the guy. Malzahn going to have the balls to not play him. Also Plumlee should realize he is not a NFL QB and get the fuck out of the way
But does Malzahn know Plumlee ain't the guy? And then the real question is...do we even have a "the guy?" I like Timmy and Tommy as guys for the future, but are they ready for this season...
All I know, is I saw Timmy a week ago and he is fired up and ready. That was the toughest 6 months of his life. From being the guy his whole life, to winning state titles, to then basically being benched and not playing football for now over a year, he's ready more than ever. Starting a true freshman for an abysmal team got him valuable learning experience. Hes got the talent, time will tell if it all comes together
I think Plumlee is bad for the locker room Timmy starting would be good for local recruiting, I was surprised how lost Castellenos looked in limited snaps last year
He looked awful in the CCG, but I guess that's not really the best situation for a true freshman to be dropped into the game? But still...yikes.
