the Reynas are awful so don't take this a defense of their behavior, but the USSF made their own bed here. notice the names in the story, they're all former players with close relationships with each other spanning decades. when everyone you hire is from the same small circle, all it takes is one little thing like this to completely poison the well because it becomes personal almost immediately.
