He would have long been kicked off the team. Knowing what he should do to realize his NFL was never the issue. Actually wanting to do it was.

we back, fellow Defending Champs ATHENS, Ga. — *** Let’s start with quarterbacks where one guy looked different than the rest from my vantage point. Keep in mind that it was just routes on air but Carson Beck was the smoothest and most accurate during that period. I spent the past third of the media viewing period watching the quarterbacks and he put everything where it needed to be. That isn’t to say that the others didn’t do some good things. Brock Vandagriff delivered a bullet to Oscar Delp on a glance/seam route during an RPO drill. Gunner Stockton also had a really nice seam route to Dominic Lovett. Beck, however, just seemed really sharp. *** The first group of wide receivers included Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint at X, Arian Smith at Z and Ladd McConkey in the slot. The second group was Dillon Bell at X, C.J. Smith at Z, and Dominic Lovett in the slot. Rara Thomas, De’Nylon Morrissette, and Mekhi Mews were with the third group today. *** I saw both Austin Blaske and Earnest Greene get some No. 1 reps during individual drills. It seemed like Greene got more. The rest of the offensive line was as you would expect. Xavier Truss was at left guard, Sedrick Van Pran at center, Tate Ratledge at right guard, and Amarius Mims at right tackle. The second team had Micah Morris at left guard, and Jared Wilson at center. I didn’t get a read on the rest of the group. *** Chidera Uzo-Diribe was on a warpath today. He was really getting after the outside linebackers and I heard him say at one point that the IMG guys were out of shape. Darris Smith appears to have put on some good weight and Damon Wilson displayed some quickness while I was out there. *** Fran Brown was none too happy with the cornerbacks while I was watching. He was all over Kamari Lassiter, Daylen Everette and Nyland Green for getting the drill wrong. It wasn’t until A.J. Harris got a rep that it was done right. Harris is a really smooth athlete. Same can be said for Justyn Rhett. ***Will Muschamp had the safeties getting after it. Their drill work appeared highly competitive with David Daniels-Sisavahn nearly making an interception with an impressive vertical leap. Muschamp was happy about the breakup. Malaki Starks appears to have put on some good pounds.
Its going to be yet another elite OL in 2023. honestly thought Amarius Mims would be the Left Tackle and Greene at Right Tackle so not sure if this should have me confident (b/c Greene is just that effing good) or worried (b/c Mims just doesnt have the bend and flexibility to play on the left) our backup OL is going to be filthy. Need to get them as much seasoning for 2024 as possible.
Can’t wait for Michigan to win another Joe Moore award and get exposed in the first round of the playoff
And it turns out that Stacy searles might be slightly better coaching a Kirby OL vs a richt OL. Funny how that works.
I laughed at that too at least Ohios OL was good against us. Michigan dog shit against us and TCU but they hide out in the midwest playing against a bunch of Whites the Falcons will draft.
hey man don't act like you weren't surprised too jk maybe you weren't but even the biggest Disney's were concerned.
Its hard to believe the amount of true-soph talent we have. I think they'll have more guys drafted than last year. Gotta think Starks, Mykal, Bear, Marvin, Everette, and Jalon will all be up there. Also think Smael could stay senior year to get out of JDJ shadow for a season.
It's going to be interesting to see if we can keep Bear focused. MJJ needs to stay healthy. And honestly Smael probably has the higher NFL upside than JDJ. CJ and Raylen Wilson will be ready soon enough
We've got a large recruiting weekend coming. Still doubt we are in it after this weekend but I'll take a courtesy visit for them to tell Bobo no.
That fast twitch hyperextension that O-line do is hell on a back. Fingers crossed but I'm skeptical. I'd love to see numbers on O-linemen that have had lumbar surgery and continued to play at a high level.
Even at a fairly loaded position, one of those freshman ILBs plays a lot this year. That trio is special. Think Bowles will need to add weight before he is in the discussion, but Raylen Wilson and CJ Allen are physically ready, if they can get the mental part down.
dude looked promising in few glimpses we got this is the best collection of secondary talent we have had in my lifetime coming up.
pumped he decided to stay in Athens rather than making a lateral move. Think he is too good at recruiting to toil away in the NFL.

of course Rusty links a San Diego Coach to the NJ DL profile, but supposedly that Jordan Thomas kid is legit. Kirby seems to scout/recruit the tri-state area well.
Laughed at that last tidbit about still drawing salary from Auburn. I mean, who isn’t? Have to wonder how much they pay each year to former coaches.
Gotta admire an athletic department who saw what the Mets did for Bobby Bonilla and decided to implement that across the board.
now lock up Kam Mikell seems like Jalewis Solomon will end up elsewhere (Which I think is a mistake) but you cant land 15 DBs in a cycle (or can you?)
