- City vs Bayern for the first time in the knockouts (I believe) - A different (since 2010) finalist on the one side of the bracket - Potential Milan derby in the semis + the potential for Napoli/Benfica to make the final
A million miles away was thinking this was a theme song for the Euro’s a while back but upon further review it was actually the MLB Playiffs like 10 years ago
I have no idea what to expect from Milan. We also play Napoli in the league on April 2 about a week before the first leg.
Roma beat them last year in the final of Conference League and they played a team decimated because of a war.
West Ham has quietly gone 10-0-0 through qualifying and into the UECL Qtrs. 25/5 GD with 6 of those wins by multiple goals. Hope they do well in vs Gent.
maybe a sacrilegious question but if you are arsenal, wouldn't you rather be eliminated so you dont have to manage the roster as much so you can win the EPL? seems like the secondary European tournament is several pegs down importance I also dont know the order of value people put on all these trophies
The only people who care about the European cup are supporters of whatever team currently holds it imo
The Arsenal posters certainly seem to feel that way. Really it seems every one does. I don’t really get it, if City get bumped to Europa I’d still want to see them win it. Then changing so the winner gets auto spot for next season’s UCL raises the prestige IMO Plus as a City fan, who am I to look down upon any European trophy
as someone without a rooting interest, it feels like league title/champions league title are kind of 1a 1b then europa/fa/carabao/etc have a big gap behind those two so idk if I have that wrong or not
