I get that people don’t like Iowa. But I legit feel for him and don’t think what his mom did was bad. All the work and dedication and most likely thinking he had this goal and being one of the best ever to come crashing down. At the same time how awesome for Ramos!
It’s just not a normal way for a parent to publicly react to a loss no matter how successful he’s been. Plus, in probably the most difficult moment of his life, he has to deal with the public reaction to it. I kinda feel bad for him for that, but quitting now is lame
Quitting is lame. I don’t fault the mom at all. She was devastated for her son who has been working and dedicating himself too for so long. The time she put into traveling. Was her reaction “normal” no, but I would feel distraught for my kid.
