Very much enjoying the drumming on this one. Most of the time I’ll give myself 20 seconds for it to grab me and it worked out this time.

I just heard an “indie” song on a gmc commercial and I can’t quite place it and now I don’t know which band to deride
Nothing caught my eye from todays releases. You know the more obscure bottom line festival poster acts though
I saw Rural Alberta Advantage the other night for the first time in 12 years. They are still a great band to see live.
God damn Black Country, New Road did it on this live album. Pretty incredible stuff after Isaac left (Ants From Up There continues to gain ground toward legendary status in my mind)
Heading to Knoxville tomorrow to attend Big Ears Festival. Hopefully will be able to see all of indie favorites: Calexico Mountain Goats Liturgy Iron & Wine Son Lux Grouper Kevin Morby Ichiko Aoba Oneohtrix Point Never Algiers Also one of John Zorn’s 7 different shows and possibly a Q&A with David Byrne
It's so good. Haven't looked this forward to an album since Punisher. They're my favorite thing in music right now.
I figured it'd be tough for any of the unreleased songs to top the singles because they're so great, but holy shit Satanist is going to have a hold on me for weeks. Just brilliance from all 3 of them.
And a video for the new Beach Fossils single Dare Me dropping in the AM holy shit what a day for new tunes
