It’s absolutely impossible to keep an entire team happy. I dont think that’s up for debate and is true among the very best teams every year, and especially true among the shitty teams. Alas, one of the first things to is, ‘everybody must earn a number (makes sense) but not my son (ummmm).’ That’s a decision that could result in less juice in the drink and way more waste in the process of making it.
It’s not like Shedeur is the only one wearing a number. He doesn’t have it yet either. They just said that he’s locked in to wear number 2 whenever he earns it. And I doubt any of those players resent the fact that Shedeur will get to wear his dad’s number. Likely for the same reason they’re at the school in the first place - their admiration of Deion Sanders. And you’d be kidding yourself, if you don’t think significantly more of those guys will want to be boys with Shedeur than have any resentment towards him.
I messed around in all practices I was in (football/basketball). If I knew there were cameras and I could have been shamed by thousands of people online...I would have practiced harder. I hope this embarasses Ajay and he responds by busting his ass for next weeks vid.
If what you’re saying is true, then that changes a lot with regard to this number discussion. The tweet that started this discussion said Shadeur doesn’t have to earn a number. Forgive us husks, we grew up in a cornfield
The original tweet shows a pic of Shedeur with a blank jersey with no number. But yeah, understand the confusion since they worded it to make it sound shitty towards Deion. But he’s the only one whose number is already determined when he earns it. Not that he is the only that doesn’t have to earn one.
You pretty worried about the Hawkeyes vs the Buffs tonight? I'm glad 1 of your teams is still in a tournament, fwiw.
I'm legit rooting for Prime. Anyone that has all the olds in NE clutching their pearls will be someone I'm gonna enjoy watching. #Louis
There is a difference between what me (a booze salesman in Nebraska via way of Oregon) has to say and prime. I want him to succeed outside of Nebraska’s turf and them to become a PERMANENT fixture on the calendar. It won’t happen but I can dream.
I might be forced to cancel my flight back from Vegas to Swimtown in a couple of weeks. Wont be able to live here if that happens.
one of these teams will be in the national championship game Kansas State Florida Atlantic Creighton Princeton San Diego State
@huskdocs RonBurgundy @husknurses what % of mallet finger injuries require surgery. Playing catch with @lilabp and got mallet finger. Zero pain. No fracture or dislocation. Just a dicked up lazy ahh left ring finger. Love you boys!
Found a study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9796768/ ~80% heal with splinting. Sometimes takes a lot longer than 6 weeks Spoiler ” To restore function to the finger, the splint must be worn full time for 8 weeks. This means that it must be worn while bathing, then carefully changed after bathing. As the splint dries, you must keep your injured finger straight. If the fingertip droops at all, healing is disrupted and you will need to wear the splint for a longer period of time. Because wearing a splint for a long period of time can irritate the skin, your doctor may talk with you about how to carefully check your skin for problems. Your doctor may also schedule additional visits over the course of the 8 weeks to monitor your progress. For 3 to 4 weeks after the initial splinting period, you will gradually wear the splint less frequently — perhaps only at night. Splinting treatment usually results in both acceptable function and appearance, however, many patients may not regain full fingertip extension.
Not a really doctor so I can’t answer but you got to amputate at least a part of it just for the meme potential.
Ask yourself this, what’s more important to you, your quality of life OR e-cred? Answer seems clear to me.
I was looking at a old-timey pulley at pnkskrt’s barn and mentioned my grandma’s pinky was permanently curled up like a little shrimp from an accident on one of those pulleys and he said “of course it was”
