I wanna know what the fuck happened to Sears shot. My god he was scorched earth for like half the sec schedule then went cold and never recovered.
It’s wild. I don’t even know what to make of it. Miller going cold. Sears went cold. Rylan hit a wall and went cold. Nimari never recovered after reinjuring himself. It’s crazy. Everyone went cold at the same time and no one snapped out of it. JQ was the only one hitting 3s for the past like 3-4 weeks.
So what are some changes you guys wanna see with the team going forward? defensive changes. Offensive changes. Who or how we recruit? Any thing?
im 33 :( I just think at some point, shut the fuck up especially when multiple times last night you fucked us. Maybe just let it go? It’s whatever. It’s who he is and what he’s done his whole time here. Take the good with the bad I guess.
I don't think anything will change. Nate is good coach and we will be good as long as he is here, but again he is stubborn and he isn't changing. Part of Saban's genius is that he adapts and learns from his mistakes and shortcomings, but I don't think Nate will. That's unfortunate for a young coach, but in spite of that he's done a fantastic job and he will keep us in the mix. Defense will take a hit if we lose Clowney (we certainly will lose Miller), but honestly our offense is what I am most worried about. That gets all the press but there was a huge dropoff in our offensive talent after Miller. We need massive improvement from Burnett, Griffen, and Bradley but I'm not sure how confident I am in that. I think the freshman are decent options that can help off the bench but I would be surprised if one makes a major impact. If Sears is our primary option offensively next year, we are not going to be in contention for a league title again. I say all that because i think our biggest need is to bring in some offensive firepower in the portal. A guard and/or a wing that can score will be sorely needed.
I haven’t had power since the storms last night and probably won’t for several days. In 24 hours I went from March Madness to March Sadness, but at least I can’t be tempted to watch basketball. If you need me I’ll be reading a book by candlelight while I listen to the hum of generators from people not poor like me.
I'll never trust this program again. Not really sure what else to say. The fact that none of the teams this university has had the last 50 years have made the Final Four (and only 1 made the Elite 8) is truly the stuff of curses.
One good thing about Beard at Ole Miss is that it’ll be another coach who plays hard defense that’ll give us tests physically. Teams will always try to beat us up. Maybe experiencing that a little more through out the year will help us come March when everything is tough.

I’m so tired of hearing how Alabamas style doesn’t work in March. Nova won a title doing it even more extreme than we do. UConn plays a very similar style. FAU plays a similar style.
We played poorly and we got out coached. Unfortunately it was the worst time of year for it to happen in. Style and talent won us 30+ games it was good enough to win four more.
There is a large industry whose livelihood is based on making hot takes, whether or not they actually believe anything they are writing. Best to just ignore it.
If I would've told y'all in 2019 that we would would win 2 league titles, 2 SEC tournament titles, make the tournament 3 years in a row, knock off multiple top teams (at home & on the road), & make the Sweet 16 2 out of 3 years every poster in here would've been thrilled. It absolutely sucks that we blew a golden opportunity to make a Final 4 and potentially win a title, but Nate's system works fine. We've grown so much as a program that we now hold Oats and Bama basketball to a Final 4 standard. That's amazing. I don't think it's time to blow everything up. Shit, Mark Few hasn't won a title with all the talent he's had. Does Gonzaga need to blow it all up too? Winning a title in bball is the hardest thing IMO. We had one of our worst performances of the season in the Sweet 16. Shit happens. We could play SDSU 10 more times and beat them by double digits 9 times. The problem with the game wasn't Nate's system. It was that we played like shit.
I’d like to see some kind of post game we can go to when the jump shots aren’t falling and we’re having trouble throwing lobs like on Friday
it's probably not completely irrelevant that sec games are officiated very differently than tourney games. i can't imagine it's easy, as a player, to flip that switch.
You gonna day 1 or give it some time to work kinks out. 3 was a clusterfuck for a few months I hear, I didn't pick it up until later.
We will be back next year for a chance at the elite 8 but honestly hope we shun any piece of shit media member that didn’t want to write or care about the facts
