Really need to design cities where people can’t park that close to where cyclists ride. Driver and cyclist got very lucky there
If I remember correctly, he survived the fall and was alive for short while afterward stuck on the pole.
That’s how they actually used to impale people on stakes. They’d tie the victims up and put the tip of the stake up their asshole as far as the could then just leave them there. Their body weight would slowly pull them down the stake until it came out their mouth or neck and they died very slowly over the course of several days.
Items chronologically destroyed: Anus Rectum Large intestine Bladder Pelvis Small intestine Liver Stomach Diaphragm Lungs??
Not to be insensitive, but how do you think they removed him? Assuming the cut the pole at the ground?
so a similar version of this happened in Orlando where a man fell off a ladder onto a large shrub or tree branch and was impaled, but lived. Branch was broken off below his ass and he was brought into the ER. They pulled out as much as they could from underneath but had to open his chest cavity to remove the rest. Had to use a dremel type tool to saw the branch inside his chest then remove it in several pieces, and I think they had to continuously pour water inside to clean out all the leaves and smaller twigs/branches.
Dead is the right answer by the way. https://6abc.com/police-chase-today-stolen-car-chp-pursuit-antelope-valley/13036130/
Also explains the quick yank off the road which I 100% support. 20+kV lines are no joke. "A CHP spokesman later explained they dragged him away because the lines from the damaged power poles were arcing, and they were concerned about the possibility of the poles and electrified lines falling onto the road."
Police/Fire/Rescue should have one designated person that walks around with a stick just smacking the shit out of any of these idiots that get so close to take videos on their phones.
Pretty sure the caption is a joke. I think.. Edit: it won’t show up in the link because it’s an age-restricted post for some reason.
