Good thing I never do anyway. Can’t support anything Boston. Isn’t Home Depot supporting it too? Good thing I’m an Ace man
Anyone have an landscape design/installation guys they recommend? Looking to red-do our patio and some other stuff around yard.
I bring my lunch to work 90% of the time but I still check Heirloom’s specials daily just in case. The Yellow Hammer and El Cowboy should be permanent menu staples if you ask me (as well as the brussels and brisket chili).
Monday Night (west midtown) is making pizza now, and it’s better than Antico. Got the Calabrian tonight and it was straight fire.
I’ll need to try it. Antico is fine, but if I’m going over there I’m choosing Gio’s each and every time.
Agreed on Gios. The Amarena is a red base with roasted black cherry sausage, sweet peppadew peppers and caramelized onions. It’s the perfect balance of flavors.
I love that place but I generally stick to chicken parm/spaghetti/and the lasagna stuff. I need to branch out to the chicken.
Owsley is the pizza at Monday Night a daily thing? Someone’s they have food, sometimes they don’t which kinda stinks.
We live about a mile away and my wife sent me a picture of "a barrel fire under the bridge" about 15 minutes before shit got weird. The next 6+ months were a nightmare
Whelp, only two more days to get the brisket chili so I know where I’ll be getting lunch from tomorrow
They’re doing it at West End too. Honestly going in the rotation to get take out. West Midtown has some great pizza now
Anyone have experience dealing with the city on permits? We are trying to add a u-shaped addition to our driveway so we aren't stacked up and constantly having to move our cars so the other person can get out. We have been in permitting for 14 months and they finally denied it due to potential root plate damage of 2 dogwood trees our arborist said were 30+ years old and dying. This is infuriating and the only way to move forward is to have them removed which is absurd. We had a dead tree removed and they asked if we wanted to remove these 2 trees and we elected to keep them and are now being punished for it.
I would assume not without a permit and they have to break the curb. I also do not have the skill to build out a 25x10 driveway
Ironically the 1st contractor we met with offered to do it on a Saturday with no permit. We decided to do things the right way and now here we are. In hindsight we should've gone with the shady guy and been done with it over a year ago
