Classic start. Dominate the opening 10 minutes, but can't find the back of the net. The other team, finds one chance and cashes in.
I’m just off the redline where we shot in the 2nd period. I have no doubt that puck was across. Obviously his glove covered it so you couldn’t see it but I’m confident it was across.
Are there always a lot of North Dakota fans at these or were they expected to go far but didn’t? I’ve seen a ton of jerseys in the arena.
OK. This is my first college hockey experience, my dad is a Michigan fan and wanted to go. Looking forward to watching Hughes, Fantilli, and Duke. My other fan observation is that there’s a lot of people here that don’t know how to walk in concourses, it’s worse than any Lightning playoff game or any other event I’ve gone to here.
It’s a shit show at any pinch point. Leaving the club level to go to 100s to check concession offerings was a big mistake.
2-2 entering the 3rd. Much better period from UM, but still giving up too many chances being loose with the puck.
Portillo has had a weird game. Michigan has given up way too many good chances but he has been good against those. It’s the other shots he has struggled with.
getting no natty or b1g regular season title out of all that talent over the last 2 years hurts, not likely to see a run of talent like that again
I understand Fantilli was unable to accept the award in person because he was in the penalty box at the time.
If you don’t think putting your opponent on the power play is a disadvantage I just don’t know what to tell you man.
Torts-style turtle not surprisingly doesn’t work and now Minnesota looks gassed Anything can happen in OT though
We aren’t a team built to just sit back and defend but that is what we did after taking a 2 goal lead. Hopefully we come back to our style in OT. It’s hard to get it through their neutral zone but if you do this goalie overreacts to the first move.
