Me too. The move there is the same...you can get a texas card easily online and then reciprocate to oklahoma or arkansas (if they are the same). I think texas makes you recertify pretty often, so I've never bothered with it
Probably right. While they’ll still be able to get what they want, cops will still be able to arrest and lock up black and brown folks for unlawful possession. Not sure if younger voters would have cared but yet another example of Dems completely shitting the bed when it comes to messaging (at least from what I’ve seen, or in this case, not seen).
In terms of weed legalization, yes. In terms of terrible arguments made by Rs, blaming too many doors for school shootings is still the peak for me.
All the people who would rather buy second hand dispensary than have the government Didn't even know there was a vote until 2 weeks ago. This was the only thing on the ballot.
Wait what? For a medical card in Texas you have to suffer from one of like 5 serious things and even then you can only get low grade thc and that’s if you find a doctor who registered for it.
There's a catch-all condition that you can get approved with easily through one of the registered telehealth providers (ptsd, iirc). But like you said, the product is weak. The legal d9 that's available is stronger than what's available through the program. Silly stuff
Cannabis has been used for thousands of years. Cory Booker: We need to study coffee more. We just don’t know enough about this drug.
A man was told he needed to come in for a drug test. He replied “Well which one? I done tested em all!”
It would be neat if we were allowed to study it but there's only one lab in the country allowed to do that iirc
I thought booker was one of the ones pushing for the legalization bill? Someone must have got in his pocket.
seeing the whole country gain access to full-spectrum edibles and cured/live rosin carts would be sweet. Clearly never gonna happen
Ole Miss used to be (until 2016) the only legal grower in the USA. https://pharmacy.olemiss.edu/marijuana/ HYDR
DIRTBALL STORYTIME: My strip-mall neighbor is a dispensary, when we voted to allow legal i asked their opinion, their manager said “I think we’ll be twice as busy.” He was so wrong, their clinic is right on state line so all the WASPS from KS can come Over and get high. In month 1 they collected more profits than 14 months of “medical” had. Lines around the block. Night and day.
I live in WV but border VA where the Jazz cabbage is legal. A pot store near my house announced they are going to start selling infused slushies. Is this okay for someone who doesn’t smoke or a terrible idea for me?
How much is in it? The normal advice for eddies is to take a half dose first, don't drive, and see how you react. Everyone's different but it's almost always not a terrible idea.
Official as of today I’m assuming? https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/30/poli...egalization-recreational-marijuana/index.html
The best potential for this isn’t necessarily the efficacy for treatment but having a formal way to evaluate and monitor for negative outcomes (psychosis, lung disease, addiction). I think this data may give the DEA what it needs to remove marijuana from the controlled substance classification.
And any openness at the federal level signifies that the opposition lobby is losing its grip. Big alcohol used to lobby heavily against cannabis and now they are waiting to roll out thc seltzers. Hopefully Big pharma just cares about getting Ozempic covered by insurance and not as much about fighting cannabis
I've always thought the weirdest thing about the federal legalization we may see in our lifetime is that all these niche edible companies and brands are going to get boxed out when Frito-Lay, Nabisco, Pepsi, and Kraft enter the market to provide you with all their normal products with THC added
Those companies will probably just buy out the niche companies that exist now. Allow the major brand to separate themselves from the sinners and allow the established edible brands to maintain their loyal customers. I imagine there are additional legal/regulatory considerations that the edible companies would have expertise in that the big corporations would need regardless.
I trust in Kraft's ability to navigate the regulations when billions of dollars in profits are at the end of the red taped road
Yes, obviously. They are going to hire someone to do the work. My point is it makes sense to pay for the company and also get that expertise vs. only paying for the expertise and allowing a competitor to eat into their profits.
New York office of cannabis management essentially banned the sale of hemp with any THC in it. Basically they’re saying cannabis is dangerous even though we’re legalizing it. Lawsuit was filed Friday. Previously they had a 25 mg limit per container on Cannabinoids (so in theory it could be 25 mg of thc), they lowered it to a 1 mg cap.
Pretty much been edibles only for a bit now. RSO and full-spectrum are such luxuries. Same exact high as killer flower without the negative impact on my cardio
It’s back on the ballot in Ohio this November. It failed in 2015, but we got medical marijuana in 2016 and voters are much more normalized to seeing it. It will be on the ballot with an abortion rights initiative that will have huge turnout. The special election tonight, which Republicans tried and failed to raise the November threshold to 60% from the current 50% has over 2.9 million voting. That’s more than voted in the 2014 Ohio midterm/Governor race, in an August special that’s turning out abortion voters like no one has seen.
Saw Germany is fixing to legalize it Will be going home for the first time in a few years for winter break and I'm really dreading not being able to sleep without my full-spectrum edibles
herb.burdette Baron pianoman I’m assuming this law is different than the bullshit they attempted last time where Nick Lachey and Oscar Robinson were among the select few who would get rich off it getting passed?
