Got a Mitchell because of this thread in ~2016ish. Looks better now than it did then. Low key favorite part of it: it keeps me carrying cash because I don’t like having the clip empty. I know we’ll be cashless soon enough but cash is still king. Easy tips, easy to split drinks. Just convenient as hell and the actual clip is more well made than any other clip I’ve seen irl
Me too. Looks brand new still. Except for the fact that it was a discounted model with a messed up logo
Cash is like free money. If I paid for something and nothing left my bank account it’s basically free.
Venmo is the same way for me. Anything in Venmo is meaningless numbers that just go back and forth for food and golf.
Also this. Gonna be zoning out to music with healthy air all around and clean floors while watching my indoor herb garden grow.
The Saddleback ID wallet is different now...better imo cause of the cash slot. Got a new one (cause of warranty).
https://www.westmarine.com/acr-elec...MIqPCy3rap_wIVGzjUAR3UfwRlEAAYASAAEgKH7fD_BwE Category I is fixed to the boat and will automatically start sending emergency signals when the boat sinks to a certain depth. My boat is foam filled and will not sink to that depth. Most recreational boaters get category II which you just put in a ditch bag. You see category I more on very large vessels.
Anyone have any casual t shirt recommendations for summer? Just something to throw on with some shorts .
I have a closet full of these in different colors. Cheap, fits well, good variety, super comfortable https://www.threadsy.com/next-level-apparel-unisex-triblend-t-shirt-6010 https://www.threadsy.com/next-level-apparel-unisex-cvc-crewneck-t-shirt-n6210
i’m interested in one that can be fixed to my lifejacket. I’m taking my boat on an overnight fishing/camping trip to the chandelier islands soon. I just ordered a rearming kit for my life jacket. Tested it yesterday and everything still worked perfectly, but it was over 10yrs old so it was past due.

You want a PLB. https://www.westmarine.com/acr-electronics-resqlink-400-personal-locator-beacon-19496165.html?&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=PMax: GSC>Smart_Shopping>Safety&gclid=Cj0KCQjw7PCjBhDwARIsANo7CgnwE9POEA2pUXa9MSUeBaJMuNSizom0Ck5No-e8lxKeGkzPgFdlRJoaAu5JEALw_wcB Also , Chandy is awesome.
ignore their awful graphic tees, I have about 5-6 of these shirts. Simple and very comfortable. https://www.intotheam.com/en-mx/col...roducts/basic-tee-custom-3-pack-bundle?color=
Any recs for long sleeve UV t-shirts? Need something breathable and cool yet will keep me from sunburns.
I have a family friend who works at a high-end West Hollywood fashion boutique who gave everyone tees for Christmas. They retail for $400 and I'm sorry to say it's the nicest cotton shirt I've ever worn.
Just wore some of these at the beach and they were perfectly fine. Not sure what paying 3x the price for the Free Flys would get me.
Not sure about durability yet but I liked this shirt so much I ordered every color. Won't beat the price.. https://www.32degrees.com/products/mens-air-mesh-long-sleeve-t-shirt?variant=40378469187673
I have into the AM shirts as well and enjoy them. Also have these. They are more spendy, but like the feel: https://byltbasics.com/products/lux-straight-hem-tee?variant=40043840634982
I might be in the swanky stuck-up minority, but I have a couple long sleeve Free Fly shirts and they are the tits Put Columbia to shame
What makes them better, it’s an honest question, I generally will pay more for nicer clothes. This swim shirt is the first article of clothing I’ve bought off Amazon… maybe ever.
I was assuming that. My buddy used to wear a t shirt in the pool when we were kids. He used to buy “husky” jeans.
Less sunscreen I have to apply. No worries about reapplying or missed spots. Not trying to get skin cancer over here.
REI Sahara stuff is fantastic. You can’t beat it at the price point. I wear them basically every day in the summer.
Extremely light and breathable fabric that still protects you…while so soft and comfortable I could honestly sleep in the shirts no problem
