Team A commits 5 fouls, refs call 5 of them Team B commits 20,000 fouls, refs call 6 of them Geniuses - Team B was called for more fouls! Why are you complaining? Edit - not complaining about the officiating from last night. Speaking generally about the weak ass logic
Every Heat fan believes in their bones that Scott Foster hates them and tries to throw their games to the other team. If this is true it also stands to reason that there are refs that would also favor the Heat.
Yes we're all aware of what a fan you are. They reach the conference finals and you show up, it's like clockwork
Can we investigate the offensive fouls on Lowry and Vincent as well? Since we are talking about soft offensive foul calls
Jimmy Butler phantom and 1, egregiously bad missed goaltend, Jimmy missed out of bounds gifting Miami three points, 3 straight incorrect out of bounds calls favoring the Heat, Heat grabby as fuck off ball all game Heat fans - refs are fucking us
Miami fans bitching about flopping and calls when you have Lowry and Butler is a 0 level self-awareness rankings. The refs aren't screwing the Heat, and anyone who thinks this is just as weird as the Corch ref conspiracy
Your position is that I'm the one crying because I'm pushing back against the absurd Heat fan ref whining?
Considering a Nuggets fan started the reffing discussion I’m not sure how that turned into Heat fans whining
Fair enough. There was lots of ref complaining from Heat fans going back to last night. And the narrative coming from Miami fans seems to indicate they think they're getting a bad whistle which I think is ridiculous.
Jimmy takes 10 FTs a game a lot of nights by pump faking and jumping into defenders without even looking at the rim and just throwing the ball in the air.
I’ve not paid enough attention to that, prob because I was busy hating who Miami played these playoffs. But the heat did take 2 FTs in game 1.
Remember all the Celtics and bucks fans talking about how much it hurt when Miami turned into a pumpkin in game 1? Sucker shit Anywho, denver obviously has levels to go up with MPJ and KCP playing like ass. However, I know he was sick, but you gotta think we still have a Caleb Martin game in us too
We all laughed at the Love signing but honestly, if your defensive game plan is, "play smart help defense everywhere on the floor, let Jokic score whenever he wants, and rebound," then Love just might be your perfect guy at this point. It'd be icing on the cake if he shot a little better than 2-9 but he played his role perfectly last night.
Watching replays of the final shot, I think the biggest thing you actually gain in taking a TO is that if Murray is going to end up taking a 3, you'd like at least a couple Denver guys crashing the boards after. There was plenty of time for a putback and they had no one under the rim.
I forgot the score. The point still stands that Denver was content with just living and dying on Murray making that 3 and there was time enough for something crazy to happen if Denver has guys down there.
I keep saying to myself that there is noway Miami can keep making these 4th qtr comebacks but somehow they keep doing it. I guess playing an entire season either getting blown out or in a 5pt game is paying dividends now.
Ignoring the Heat ra-ra portion of this post, I hadn't seen this re: Robinson's contract Edit: appears the majority is still fully guaranteed and the incentives only account for the last ~10mil Also edit: thought this was the Heat thread - hood with the quick thread title edits this morning
