I've met Cronagle and his SO at Good Dog a couple times, very nice folks and seem to like being in Birmingham. We connected over our Bernadoodles.
His Bernadoodle was with him at the hardware store. I watched them walk down the sidewalk to get there and the dog was just walking a step and a half behind him with no leash. To be honest, it worried me a bit considering they were walking down Montevallo but they did it safely when I was watching. His brother that also used to play for us is in the commercial real estate industry here now if I remember correctly.
#whentheworstpersonyouknowhas.gif (although I don't generally think adding more lanes is good policy, no one's going to listen to that in AL) https://www.al.com/news/2023/07/ain...adership-says-i-65-should-be-prioritized.html
I say this as someone who is incredibly biased because basically every Friday from April-October i'm sitting in standstill traffic on the way home, but they are going to need to continue widening 65. I don't have the data but I know development on the gulf coast has increased dramatically in the past 20 years, and I doubt the infrastructure getting down there has increased with it.
probably. i don't know. i would love it if they sunk a trillion bucks in it and made high speed rail from chicago to Rosemary Beach but just trying to think what's feasible here.
I don't disagree. It's not like they'd build 10 lanes. But a lot of it is a joke. Definitely my least favorite stretch of interstate in Alabama (65 from Bham to Greenville or so).
i think montgomery-Birmingham needs to be at lest 3 lanes on each side. that would probably solve most of the congestion.
wait Barves2125 can you, apparently a closet reddit dork, direct me to these posts about the issues with the hoover imax theater last night my friend bought us oppenheimer tix there for saturday
The stretch where it drops from three lanes to two between Alabaster and just outside of Montgomery is horrible. I was coming back from a work meeting in Montgomery and myself and a few other cars had had enough and were going 90 in the right lane passing all the dildo Midwesterners returning from the beach. Get out of the left lane you dummies
that's literally my commute every friday. sitting there in standstill traffic staring at a fucking minivan from ohio with a top loader. i think awful thoughts in those moments.
spent a week near Seaside in May and it's amazing how shitty it all is now. Don't even get me started on the golf carts.
I fully expect Skyline Chili and cheese curds to replace crab cakes and shrimp at Bud and Alleys at this rate
Not closeted, babe! I like to look at some Alabama related subreddits on occasion. Got to keep my finger on the pulse of the Magic City.
Honestly this was our exact experience in Vestavia down to Snakes feeling ill because of the temps. pre-movie service was fine through.
There is zero chance I’d sit in a theater without AC in Alabama in July. Y’all are some cheap motherfuckers. Just eat the $14 or whatever a movie costs now.
I would say Perdido/OBA is better than 30A, but the Cajun Redneck/Texas invasion there is pretty awful.
i legitimately considered the idea that Nolan wanted to gradually turn the heat up on the audience as they got closer to the explosion. it didn't start off that bad but after an hour and a half i was covered in sweat.
Spring Break 2004 in Seagrove was poppin’ Headed down to Rosemary in a few weeks. Will do my best to ensconce myself from the proletariat.
Steve Marshall showed up to speak at the Carlee Russell charging press conference. She was charged with two misdemeanors.
of course he fucking did (no i do not condone what she did obviously but that guy can get fucked and should be in prison himself)
The thrill of marrying a Wiregrass girl https://bahamascourtnews.com/woman-lover-charged-in-plot-to-kill-husband/
Wow that’s really her lol I thought it was a random name thing. Did she go off the deep end or something?
Comes from a lot of money on both sides of her family. She started an affair with that guy who was a bartender in Abaco. Family cut her off after the affair and some other issues.
So stereotypically Auburn, too. Married at 20, three kids by 26, posting about God and her perfect marriage on FB while fucking around on her husband and plotting his death…
It’s so strange. Was completely normal growing up. And in college was just your typical student. National media is starting to run with it.
